It feels a little bit like a part of the soul of the club has fled over these last couple of years. After the O'Niell years came desolation. We grew back a bit of the clubs soul with Vardy, Nigel, Nuge, and Kasper. It feels like that little piece of us has died, particularly in the last week. He goes with a heart full of wishes but a head full of sadness.

I'm going to need a year before I engage with this kind of discussion.

I'll echo what's been said here. Very very disappointing from someone who I thought was a leader and positive influence last year. He'll not give a shit on my opinion, mind. I'm not far from getting married and earn less than his weekly salary in a year. I'll make concessions for my job including nights away for the rest of my career. Not because I want to but because I have some understanding that not every element of my working life is dictated by my personal life. Didn't mind going on the lash in Denmark when his Mrs was pregnant so clearly his concern extends in only so many directions.

Justin was genuinely excellent before the injuries but to keep playing him must count as some form of abuse or neglect.

Faes, Soumare, Justin, Coady. These four were all poor and looked like they couldn't give a shit. Zero bite. Zero quality. Embarrassing. Kristianson tried hard and was still poor. Extremely embarrassing to watch.

I'd imagine that it was a show of respect based on the entirely low stakes situation we find ourselves in.
