Honestly hard to pick his best achievement.

You're right but I think you chose a weird part of that statement to focus on Year by year it's still hilarious that we've won the Premier League* more recently than 50% of the "Big" Six and as many times as Chelsea in the last ten years. * and the FA Cup for that matter.

It's cope. People knows he's leaving so they're just convincing themselves he's shit anyway. They always do it, they've been saying Fatawu is shit all season despite him putting up incredible numbers for a team as bad as ours. It's always been like it. The year before Mahrez left, one of the greatest players in our history and a genuinely world class talent, people were pretending he was crap all year and we wouldn't miss him.

The rules in League One are preoccupied with clubs only spending a % of their revenue and not strictly bothered by the profit / loss margin in the same way that matters in the Championship and Premier League. But we as a club still can't continue to make losses year on year, especially because if we do get promoted back to the Championship we still have to demonstrate an improved financial position over rolling years. Plus, look, even forgetting amortisation - we bought him for 15 to 18ish million pounds, we can't just let him go for half of that. You can't keep pissing away opportunities to generate profit, regardless of what laws you're trying to comply to.

We probably can't sell him for that little. That won't cover his book value and loyalty bonus combined. If that's all we could get for him we'd loan him out. But he'll go for north of 10/12 I'd imagine. It definitely won't represent his true value but it won't be quite that low. We probably won't get more than that for Nelson, though.

That took long

0.19 G+A/90 this year makes him worse than Luke Thomas, Bouba Soumaré, Wout Faes and Silko Thomas with Ayew, Daka and BDCR contributing at twice the rate Unbelievably honking haha.
-
Managed the same G+A/90 (0.64) as KDH in his Championship season under Enzo. Given the quality of the coaching, the squad and the results this season that's frankly ****ing immense output. Looking at what KDH has kicked on and achieved at Everton with a similar work rate, energy and self belief, I'd be all over JJ if I was a Prem club.

And Martin O'Neill played for ****ing Forest.

The only connection Nigel Pearson had to Leicester City was captaining a team against us in a cup final. I don't want staff with a connection to the club, I want competent staff with a good attitude hired on merit.
-
Dream scenario: Cov buy him, he signs for them because he's got loads of respect for Lamps who wants him personally. A week later, Lampard gets the Chelsea job. Coventry hire Ruud van Nistelrooy to replace him. Hilarity ensues.

LCFC an apology to the fans for 6 points deduction

It absolutely wouldn't surprise me if an upper mid table Championship club with some financial backing lumps a little north of £5m on him. An overall loss for us but an in-year PSR profit against his remaining book value. Although probably not much when you factor in his loyalty fee. A lot will depend on what his wages look like after relegation and whether a buying club can and will match those. Probably more significant than whatever the fee would be.

Foxestalk gets mad when we're linked to the same names over and over again like there's no imagination at the club. Meanwhile, foxestalk getting obsessed that we should almost exclusively hire nothing but former players. **** sakes, people. The world is big. There's seven (?) billion people in it. Broaden your horizons. Edit: **** me it's 8bn now. Planet is doomed anyway what the hell does football matter. We'll be living in the post apocalypse before LCFC makes profit again.

I hate like 95% of this forum. (For the record, you're alright. Mostly. )

He's very obviously not coming here. That's been apparent for months for most of us. I'm locking this. There's a thread in the main forum to dicuss JJ the player which will remain open until his loan officially ends and his future starts somewhere else. I don't see the point of this thread staying open. You want to dicuss JJ, do it there. But he isn't signing for us permanently so we really don't need this open.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Finnegan replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
You obviously didn't see the post about one of our youth players being abused in French behind his back. -
Yep. I think it's a good match I can definitely see him going there.

Burnley want Bellamy apparently. Be interesting to see if he goes. He'll 100% definitely make the jump to club management but might stay to try and qualify for the Euros given we'll have games at Cardiff if we qualify. Think he'll do really well at club level when he does though.
