We play better with him - especially Mavididi. Dakas pace scares defenders and that tends to leave space for Stephy

Mads Justin Coady Vestergaard Doyle Ricardo Winks Fatawu KDH Mavididi Daka 4-2-3-1 Will never happen in a million years but this is our best 11 imo. System would allow fullbacks to push on and open the pitch a bit more. We’re so easy to play against. Ndidi, Praet, Akgun, Vardy from the bench. Faes is a bombscare. Daka isn’t a great finisher but imo we play better with him in the side.

Is this the most stressful season as a Leicester fan ?
Jazzy_Jeff replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
When was our last boring season? id be quite happy for us to get promoted and sit between 10-14th for 2/3 seasons. No huge turnover of players/staff, relegation battles, boardroom chaos etc Go into each game trying to win with no repercussions at either end of the table if we don’t. think the last 2/3 years had aged me 20 yrs -

So you don’t think we’d be in this mess if we had sold Tielemans with 2yrs left on his contract (when his stock was high) and reinvested it as opposed to gambling on keeping him and improving the squad?

Same 11. We need to take what’s going on off the pitch and challenge it into an aggressive and front foot performance
-
This is all an absolute nonsense. Owners should be able to spend their own money in an attempt to be successful. We had two 5th place finishes and an FA Cup win and our owners decided to roll the dice and have a go at improving on it. Circumstances that followed then caused us to go backwards rather than forwards. We should be applauded for having a go rather that punished for daring to challenge the elite. We now find ourselves in a complete no win situation when there are clubs like Chelsea and Man Utd who are haemorrhaging money and are allowed to because of the badge on the front of their shirt. The “purpose” of FFP was to prevent clubs going about of business. What a shower. It was to stop the favoured clubs being challenged. You wait, there will be 5 English clubs in the reformed Champions League, then 6, then their Super League is finally here. This is nothing more that corruption and it will all come crashing down one day.

If we go up, we will still need to shift anyone who is on a decent wage - it’s this that’s crippling us. If we can somehow re-establish ourselves in the EPL we’ll have to go back to our plan of buying players for £10m-15m on sensible wages, improving them and selling for a profit. We need to forget about the idea of being able to challenge the rich teams again, those days are long gone

None of our available strikers will be here in July. Regarding Friday, he had half a chance (admittedly offside) and stuck it away whereas Vardy missed two much easier chances.

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Jazzy_Jeff replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
I think yesterday proved that a number of our players are more than capable of making the step up. If we do get promoted the priority has to be a centre forward and 3 new defenders. We have no pace back there and our system will leave them awfully exposed against a much higher level of opposition. We will not get the same number of chances in the PL so will need someone clinical as well as being good at holding the ball up -
Humphries does have a bit of a smug look about it. and he supports Leeds. take your pick

You’re not alone on this one. We’ve had shoddy refs all season but the decisions against us since we built up a commanding lead (and it now transpires were under investigation for our finances) are very suspicious. Can’t recall a single game in which I haven’t felt like the officials have been against us since minute one -
Ref was atrocious. We made poor decisions at key times which cost us all three points. This break comes at a good time. Let’s get some players back and go on a run. Vardy to start for rest of the season. Mavididi needs to go back to basics. With a fully fit Ndidi and Ricardo back I’m confident we’ll get back to our best

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Jazzy_Jeff replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
They’re still fuming with us after 2016. -
Did they sit on their hands or where they distracted by the implications of breaking the financial rules? With no such worries, I’m sure we would have sacked BR after Brighton away and would have invested Fofana cash in the squad during the summer
-
I think Cannon was brought in because at the time it seemed like Daka was off. We also had AFCON to worry about. Daka staying threw a spanner in the works and his bit of form over Xmas didn’t help cannons cause either

The whole European Super League debacle was a ploy to distract everyone from what is happening in our country. With VAR and FFP the people behind English football can essentially decide what happens in order to line their own pockets. The Super League is essentially happening, it’s a mini league within the Premier League that soon no one else will be able to join.
