  1. Good player but he is tiny and dwarf-like. If he comes here which one will he be Happy or Dopey?- it will change week to week given the fickleness on here
  2. Indeed - An Uber signing!
  3. its going to be a long beak as well! I expect Claude's Ostreeech will have qualitee and intensitee
  4. Got talent in his feet but lacking a footballing brain for the highest level of competition, Not something you can coach either.
  5. I was really pleased I was there tonight to see him bow out with a nicely taken goal right in front of me. Sad in many ways but I think the time has come to let him move on. I'm sure he will realise in due course what he left behind as has Drinkwater but I wish him the very best in his future career and for his family.
  6. Yes clearly MOTM - got his foot in, won it and passed it nicely. Totally different performance from any seen previously. Well done Hamza you clearly have the talent just team that with the aggression and commitment of a Vardy and we have a player on our hands. Shows you need to give the young players a run but that's not easily done in the Prem where every point counts.
  7. What are the chances of a 26 year old non league player joining championship club Leicester going on to win the Premier league, in doing so beat Van Nistelroy's consecutive goals record, reach the last eight of the Champions League, play for England and then lift the World Cup having scored a hat-trick in the final against Germany? That last one might be a stretch but 100 goals ... umm nothing would surprise me in football terms with Jamie Vardy. It makes me laugh all those clubs and managers who said "we could have signed him" Well you didn't ...
  8. Unless someone scores a worldy it should be goal of the season as well. Another achievement by Vardy... what a man!
  9. Pretty much agree with that. In fact I've been surprised how well he has done since coming back from his injury. He has not let us down. You never have to think whether Wes will give 100% he does this every week - he is the first to throw himself in front of the ball. Yes his distribution is not as good as his defending but he's been a fantastic buy for a £1M. I think this may be his last season as a first choice CB but if it is he goes out with his sword and shield held high to join Walsh, Elliott, Worthington, Weller, Izzet, Lenny, Banks, Shilton, Lineker as true legends of the club. It will be a sad day when we no longer see Wes on the pitch at the King Power.
  10. Exactly. I'm very fortunate to travel overseas with my job and have a brilliant Mexican arm of my family courtesy of mine son marrying a super girl from Mexico who is a huge City fan, as is the whole of her family in Mexico City - all 300 of them, Her Dad has more shirts and stuff than I have! When I tell people I am a Leicester supporter (for over 50 years) wherever I am people know who we are, we won the league and they were rooting for us. The bigger stadium is not simply about the seats, it is part of growing the whole club, inc the corporate hospitality and sponsorship. We hare a large catchment area and no reason for local kids took beyond Leicester anymore. The owners have been and continue to be fantastic. We are lucky to have them and their firepower. Also whilst I'm at it - we are definitely NOT a small club anymore to all those folk on here who think we still are (and I swear some would like to see us back in the championship - where we belong )We are currently one of the richest 20 in the world, playing in the most lucrative league with massive global interest and arguably the 7th or 8th largest club in that league. I want my team to be as successful as possible on and off the pitch and every little boy and girl born in Leics become a fan and experience the utterly brilliant time we have had, particularly in the last 6 years. One of the greatest experiences of my life which would be something I'd love my 16 month old grandson to be part of again one day!
  11. I was wandering round Slimbridge wildfowl trust at easter and my son reminded me of this one How do you turn a duck into a soul singer? Put it in the microwave until its Bill Withers !
  12. BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME !
  13. We have all been privileged to witness the development of Vardy , as it turns out he could not have gone to a better club than us. I've seen most of the great players we have had over the years but Vardy will always have a special place in my affection because of his work rate, tenacity, that little nasty streak the very best players have and his finishing has become super clinical, combine that with the fastest player I've seen, but he does not run like a headless chicken, combined with touch and skill and the fact at the end of the day he's still got more in common with the hard grafting supporters who love him as their own- plus he winds up the opposition better than any other. The guy is no fool either - he has nurtured his talents and worked hard and stayed on the rails. I'd love to think that one day we might see "arise Sir Jamie Vardy of somewhere in Lincolnshire" - he is an inspiration to everyone who works hard to achieve things in their life. Plus he's a good dad to the kids which goes a long way in my book.
  14. Actually you and I and everyone around us were out of the orange seats as Rooster bore down on goal in the left hand channel and scored. The only person not impressed was your little sister who was only about 5 who we had plied with sweets successfully all match but the explosion of noise and all of the big people falling over themselves upset and frightened her then she was in tears for a different reason! Happy days in the family stand..
  15. Diabate had an involvement in both goals. He's positive, wants to play with tempo and has a brain in his head. When his best position is established and he's settled in the team we'll have unearthed another gem. You can see the quality he has even in brief cameos.
  16. Constrains is the appropriate word I'd say - What constrains Leicester from being top 6 as in what are the factors that may "hold back" our club. We were a top 6 club in 2015/2016 We have owners with the firepower. We could possibly achieve 7th this year in the most competitive league in the world and try to progress from here. In the alternative anyone remember the idea we merge with Derby and Florists to become the East Midlands Royals
  17. I was staying at the Marriott on Friday night and I thought that I'd probably see the Palace team - who were there, however upon checking-in a chap and his wife came up to reception to ask a question as I looked to my left I thought I know that bloke - It was Claude Puel ! Now I'm going to have to take full and total responsibility for the performance on Saturday since I in-advisably exclaimed to him - "You are doing a great job Claude" (I had been to the Southampton match so was still on a high after that performance) He said thanks at a level of .5 of a decibels. Reflecting afterwards on my ill advised praise he probably took that into his team talk. Sincere apologies to all fans. I'll blank him next time!!
  18. He's the best running Quarter Back we've had. One on one against the goal-tender he is clinical.
  19. This is one of the door handles in my Company's Edinburgh office - < cue more sniggering>
  20. I didn't think it possible to draw a cock and balls without Jizz - clearly the writer is impotent !
  21. I like the idea of a Christmas Carol theme - sung to Good King Wensclaslas Good King Rudkin last looked out when we had no Gaffer Was it Dyche or Allardyce or even big fat Rafa Darkly shone the moon that night as he considered Kewill When a french bloke came in sight, who has the name Claude Pu... u.. el
  22. For all of you who are wanting a German coach
  23. With you 100% Bluearmyfox28. Frank Mclintock went to Plymouth (i might be wrong but it was a west country club) to sign Bobby Saxton and came back with Lammie Robertson. I'd say definitely the worst player ever to don a Leicester shirt in the time I have been supporting LCFC which is the same amount of time as you , I seem to remember he cost us £5,000. I've not seen it on here yet but I think you could have a good argument as to who was the most skillful player we have had and it would be close between Mahrez and Worthington. If I was put on the spot Id say Wortho.... just by a tiny fraction although Mahrez has the rest of his career to do some more wonderful things. What a time we are living in!
  24. Having supported the club for 50 years I can say that the atmosphere the fans have created over the last 18 months has been utterly fantastic WELL DONE US! and we have been recognised universally as one of the best sets of supporters in the land to complement the amazing success we have had on the pitch - that is not coincidental. The clappers have encouraged fans in all parts of he ground to be a part of the collective. Carry on East Stand with the Poznan - do what you like when we score, Personally I'd like to hear the goal music at least 5 times every match!! In terms of size of club - we had the highest attendance in the league on Saturday (quirk of fixtures where lesser clubs at home and Spuds lower capacity) Notwithstanding, some commentators have us as the 7th largest club in England and 13th overall. With £100M TV money, up to £40M Champions league if we progress and a growing worldwide fan base to buy merchandise and don't forget the owners have a cool £2billion - a lot of people will have to adjust their expectations about the size of the club. Oh and by the way there was an article in the London Evening Standard tonight commenting how dire the West Ham atmosphere is at "The London Stadium" as it is now called where noise evaporates into thin air. The theme was how cr*p it was compared to Upton Park.
  25. Saw my Grey cousin on Saturday steal all the limelight. He's even influenced the away shirt...ridiculous That takes the biscuit or the nut! I've been driven me north - I used to live in the trees around Coalville Grammar School - anyone remember me? So I've come on here to show my support of LCFC and to make it clear we Red Squirrels follow the Foxes
