We should have beaten Croatia in the World Cup semis, this wasn’t Brazil, France or Argentina, it was a side with a 34 year old Mandzukic up front and Dejan ****ing Lovren at centre half! Hardly vintage Then lose to Italy at home in a final who less than 12 months later fail to even qualify for their 2nd consecutive World Cup! I do think countries included our own should have boycotted it. All it would have taken is a big nation, England, Germany, Brazil etc to have made a stand I reckon the others would have followed suit (much like last years Super League). It was bad enough the World Cup was awarded to Qatar in the circumstances it was with the clear bribery and most people responsible now being found guilty but the stories which have been uncovered since makes this abhorrent to the extreme. Slave Labour leading to thousands of deaths is just being thrown away as a common headline! Whilst FIFA promote the beautiful game. I have a very personal dislike for Spurs which stems from the 99 League Cup final. Where at Wembley, as a 12 year old, I was subjected to horrendous verbal abuse from their fans even after they’d scored their late winner. I remember even at that age thinking ‘why are they more concerned about insulting a child than celebrating a late winner in a cup final??’ but there we have it. You'd think I’d be over it but I’m not! One League Cup since to show for it since you c*nts, you defo should have focused on celebrating more😂😂

Everybody (apart from the Man United board it seems) knew he wasn’t worth that money when we sold him, it was Andy Carroll to Liverpool level of stupidity but he was decent for us. With that said when a Man United fan at work was taunting me about them ‘stealing’ one of our best players (I think you’ll find one Club was stealing but it wasn’t Man United) I said to him he wasn’t even our best centre half, Jonny Evans was, he just laughed. I was being deadly serious. Maguire was great bringing the ball out, decent passer and good in the air but his positional sense was a good as a pissed bloke who’d been on the waltzers for an hour and he moved like an oil tanker in treacle. It is mad he’s a guaranteed starter for them given his form over the past 2.5 years

Honestly who do people want to get in if we got rid?? He’s not blameless but the players must take the brunt of this. I’ve personally always felt politically connected to Liverpool and found the people of the City to generally stick up for what is right. Last night I was embarrassed to hear some of the chants from our own supporters. Poverty is not a laughing matter and has no place inside a football stadium. As for some of the darker chants, needless to say they have no place in any part of society. Rivalries are what makes football and by all means sing about past managers, players and generally be a brutal as you want but having a pop at people unable afford to eat is not banter. Of course it’s not the people at the ground it’s aimed at but that’s not the point We are better than that and last night after such a great performance it’s annoying that this is even a thing. Sections of their crowd are not blameless but doesn’t mean we should stoop to those levels

I just cannot believe how far this club has gone in 10-12years! Exactly I love the 3 Lions song and it is without doubt the best football song ever in my opinion (the hipsters with their World in Motion opinions can do one) but it is massively misunderstood by the masses. It’s a song about Englands glorious failures and despite being let down time and again, we still support them. Also it’s coming home was a reference to the tournament being held in England, nothing more.

This is not hyperbole, bias or the fact I’ve had 10 beers and absolutely buzzing but we really are the greatest team in the country! I don’t mean in history but I mean right now. Seeing our owner be embraced as he was and lift a major trophy as if he’s our captain whilst other top clubs are rioting to displace theirs just goes to show how lucky we are. On the pitch, off the pitch we’re a beacon on how things should be done FA Cup Winners and now to secure Champions League football. Jesus ****ing Christ some of the comments in here are embarrassing! Anyone would think we were in Sheffield Uniteds place and just got stuffed 4-0 at home to West Brom. We drew away, against a decent team who sat back for most of the game and made it really difficult. We’re 8 points clear of 5th with 4 games to go and have an FA Cup final to look forward to in 2 weeks. I suggest people log off their computers/phones, have a beer and enjoy their bank holiday weekend. Things aren’t really all that bad
