I got tickets to the final some time ago. It couldn't be, could it?

My lads have really gotten into darts since the whole "Littler" effect and want a dartboard for the spare room. Massive variance in price. Don't really want to fork out £100 for a board, but don't want a cheapo one either. Any tips on type of board to look for?

Bournemouth FA Cup (a) Match Thread
stripeyfox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001ww35 says it's on red button at 19:20 -
one of the issues is that the ST T&Cs forbid the ticket from being sold (or even given away). Not worth the (potential) hassle anymore. Club prefers the seat to stay empty it seems
-
if that was a more suitable slot though, it would make sense. UEFA moved the CL final from Wednesday night to Saturday?
-
it baffles me why this isn't played on a Saturday? Surely the global reach of it would be much enhanced if it was on a Saturday? Is it just tradition that keeps it on the Sunday?

Boulter out. Battled bravely in that last game but not enough unfortunately

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it is incredible -
Leicester 'set to become one of UK's top stag do locations'
stripeyfox replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
Where do you fancy your stag do mate? Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam or Sunderland? -
It's been dying for a while now. With Canada, Australia, South Africa etc all withdrawing from hosting recently, there doesn't seem to be any viable host apart from the UK and there doesn't seem to be any appetite here to host it. We're only 2.5 years out from the 2026 games so there really isn't much time. If the CG does survive, I can't see the 2026 edition happening. Maybe they can find a host for 2030 (Singapore, Malaysia?) but unfortunately I think it has had it's day.

Mk dons was such a strange atmosphere for me, the sheer amount of little kids that were there made it more like a school trip than a match. They didn’t have to be up the next day and I also heard alot of comments from people next to me “first away game etc” Yeah I was one of them - took my kids to their first away match exactly for the reasons you mention. They loved it. But MK Dons in the League Cup was never likely to be the most pulsating atmosphere anyhow

Ipswich (A) - 26th December - 7:45 KO
stripeyfox replied to moore_94's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Any realistic chance of this making it to STH with 505 points? When do they go on sale? -
it's crap for those attending the match. But good for the rest of us!

I'm really late to the party on this [which is not a bad thing as I now have 4 series to binge] but wow. For All Mankind is incredible, really enjoying it so far. For those who haven't heard of it (as I hadn't until a few days ago), it is a sci fi series set in an alternative reality where the Russians beat the Americans to the Moon in 1969 and it then picks up the timeline from there.

I still do stuff on the hob too - once I realised I missed the therapeautic action of stirring a curry/spag bol etc (even though I can do these in the AF)
-
The term air fryer is a bit misleading. It is a small (and therefore, more efficient - in theory) oven. Ideal for lots of meals. I've done roasted veg, salmon, steak, chicken spag bol etc in mine. Very quick for nuggets, fish fingers, chips etc for the kids
-
get a meat thermometer. Helps take the guesswork out. And don't be fooled by the term "air fryer" - it is simply a small convection oven, usually with different settings for temperature and fan speed.

FIFA been falling over themselves to line this up. Australia doing the sensible thing and pulling out before wasting millions on a bid they can't win.

Travel disruption - trains, planes, automobiles and parking

don't they proof read anything before sending out? -
Euro 2028 tournament will be played on these shores

by giving a few matches to South America and Africa, FIFA are simply getting their ducks in a row for Saudi Arabia 2034
