Felt like a pre-season game. A solid exercise of Maresca ball. Really encouraged by some of the one touch passing. Nachoman just makes things happen.

We are still struggling moving deadwood on. Last season went to complete pants and one thing we can point at, is too many players running contracts down. Now we have quite a few running out of contract again and I was hoping we had learned something.

Listening to him speak is not the most exciting is it....? Hope the kid can help us and is as good as we hope.

35M for Harvey with 2 years on his contract sounds fishy low. Doesn't he have among the best G+A stats for wingers in the PL, and he is young and british.

So talented. Sad to see him go, but also expected. Feel Spurs got them selves a bargain there, but his nagging injuries and the way he handled our relegation run-in, maybe is not that big a bargain after all.

I do get a feeling of us being played in the transfer market. Maddison for only 40M seems real cheap with his numbers, and both Winks and Coady deals feel very expensive considering they were deadwood at their clubs. But now we get them in early and our unproven new manager have a chance to get his ideas across. Have an uneasy feeling about the new season, but like many others I was not impressed when Ranieri was appointed, so maybe we lucked out again and we might have a pretty fun season.

So basically 30M and Winks for Maddie. That really sounds like a shit deal. Are we just letting the clubs we are dealing with dictate the media, or are we seeing more of the Rudkin masterclasses?

He is like Tielemans without the occassional world class pass or screamer isn't he? Does not fill me with joy and hope, but we do need midfielders, that can actually pass and keep possession.

In the complete apathy of this season's events, I had not noticed our Fox logo in the pattern of the new shirt before.... Thats class, but the gold bits can still just go home. Also why the flip do the club not do retro shirts from our title win season and the iconic burgundy from the FA Cup final?? They should just be in the club shop at all times.
