Encouraging if true. Sheff W were a basket case when Röhl took them over. He then somehow kept them up and has transformed them into a decent footballing team. Granted, they've lost more games than won this season, but looking at the dreadful squad they have, him overseeing a push at play offs (until recent weeks) is a decent effort.

Looking at the website, I don't think I've seen that many unsold tickets on the morning of a league game for years (as in, in the Premier League), which is nice. Hopefully, the message is getting through.

In my mind, we've been down since 22 December, when we lost 0-3 at home to Wolves. And I have been consistently saying that. Before they played us, Wolves had just sacked O'Neill (after the game before us, Ipswich at home). So that was our chance to turn things around, get 3 points, hit Wolves' confidence and to really put them in the s**t with us and Ipswich. We f**ed it massively and gave them a bounce. The boost they got from beating us then saw them go get 4 points in their next two games against Man U and Spurs. I think those two games would've been very different had they lost to us. Meanwhile, we played Liverpool and Man C. Obviously got nothing. In real terms, that little "three-game season" potentially meant a 10 point difference. It defined and sealed our fate – and theirs. Even if all the other results had been exactly same since 22 December, Wolves would now be sitting on 22 points (including today's win) and we'd be on 20.

It's the same people who think the ownership and Rudkin are beyond reproach.

Controversial take perhaps, but I always thought the statue was a bit of an odd one. Especially its location. Also, it being where it is could become somewhat awkward, because, let's face it, King Power won't stay here forever. Setting up a memorial garden at the actual site of the crash I 100% understand – and that should always be there. Perhaps the statue could be moved there too, eventually.

We won't catch Wolves. Neither will Ipswich. The only way we will stay up is to somehow miraculously finish above Ipswich, while someone somewhere decides to grow some genitals and relegates Man City re. the 115 charges. Neither will happen, of course. But it's our only hope.
