Matt Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Pfft! Bloody hell! Rajdhani Express in the next! Come on, been a good horse to me in the past, won me a fair bit, always back him, seems to be getting a little old now (Just had a look, he's only 8, not exactly old!) but still has the abilty. Dependant on how that does I might have a little single on Vyta Du Roc because the Lucky 15 ain't gonna return a great deal! YOOU BEAUTY! Great ride, one of my current favourite horses! Think I got 11/1 on it. (Not really sure, they were busy in the bookies when I asked for the odds so they just wrote best odds on the slip, I hope it was 11's or better) Returns about £40!
Bayfox Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Cheers lads. Lost so much on champagne but thanks to those on here tipping express I have clawed most of it back at the Last minute.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 The biggest race of the day is off in 10 minutes, so over to Cock Gwan to talk about dresses with idiots. Thank god for RUK.
Matt Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 For anyone interested AP is doing an Q&A for Radio 5Live from 7pm, obviously be on the radio but think there is gonna be video online and on the red button.
separator Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Had Raj Express & Barters Hill in a 50p e/w patent, returned £60. Gives me a bit of ammo for tomorrow's racing.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Who we having on the main one tomorrow then? My miney is on Night In Milan
Kitchandro Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 So sad looking at Bechers Brook these days. The formidable iconic fence that once was is no more.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Not a bad day. Winner and a place in my E/W L15, couple of places at decent enough prices, Saphir De Rheu comfortable win but the big saver was RADJAHNI EXPRESS, £2.50 E/W at 10/1 won me enough to mean I have a bit of ammo for tomorrow on the footy and racing.
separator Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 National bets... Rocky Creek 9/1 & Balthazar King 10/1, e/w singles & a reverse forecast. Oscar Time 40/1 £2.50 e/w, and my FT sweepstake pick Al Co 20/1, £2.50 e/w
zak_lcfc Posted 10 April 2015 Author Posted 10 April 2015 sorry in advance for anyone on Balthazar King, I've have a terrible two days of the festival one can hope all my luck will come in the form of him winning tomorrow
doncht Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 I guess there are people also on your side for this. Good luck!
zak_lcfc Posted 11 April 2015 Author Posted 11 April 2015 I guess there are people also on your side for this. Good luck! Haha, good luck to whoever you choose to back as well! The big one today hoping to see a good race with no serious falls
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 1.30 Parlour Games 2.50 Zarkander 5.40 Hollies Pearl E/W E/W L15 1.30 Seeding 2.05 Sizing Granite 3.25 Duke of Lucca 5.10 One for the Guv'nor. Then had about 6 or 7 in the National either through results of sweepstakes or genuine fancies. WIth my biggest hope on Balthazar King.
chrishlcfc Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Had 4 in the national. £4 e/w on Rocky Creek, £2.50 e/w on the druids nephew, £2.50 e/w on Gas Line Boy and £1.25 e/w on Wyck Hill and then had a L31 on some of the other races.
zak_lcfc Posted 11 April 2015 Author Posted 11 April 2015 Rocky Creek almost level favourite with Shutthefrontdoor now, still hoping Balthazar King can do it but like every year the closer it gets the less confidence I have in my choices
ealingfox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Ive gone with Rocky Creek, Alvarado, Rebel Rebellion and Many Clouds, all EW.
zak_lcfc Posted 11 April 2015 Author Posted 11 April 2015 Hearing Balthazar King has had a fatal fall, a shame he was great at what he did, sad news if true
AoWW Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Hearing Balthazar King has had a fatal fall, a shame he was great at what he did, sad news if true BK is up - must have been badly winded. Good win for Many Clouds and his connections - glad to see they kept him walking and got plenty of water onto him at the finish though, he was tying up badly.
zak_lcfc Posted 11 April 2015 Author Posted 11 April 2015 Good to hear he is up, well done to Many Clouds done well to win it like every winner of the National and congrats for anyone who had backed him!
