Witch Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 He could have suffered a tricky foot injury yesterday. Metatarsal territory? That could have been his season swansong. Hope not. That wasn't a foot. After Wasyl was subbed, the camera showed him, sitting behind Pearson's back. And he had this cooling stuff wrapped around his ankle.
Stadt Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Wasyl started the season a little weakly and then became our best player for a few games before he lost his place. since he's been back in he has been immense again. This is the oldest man on the pitch yesterday yet he was everywhere - in both boxes. 34 and with legs. What a player. u wot m8 Also, imagine if we had pre leg break Wasyl?
Dickov22 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Starting to win even me over!I thought Saturday was his best game in a city shirt personally. Fair play to him
Clever Fox Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 He has been terrific all season. A real leader with his performances and a top top pro. He must be frightening to try and play against for any forward. I only wish like Tunch we could have him for longer. I think there's one more season in him though.
desertfox2 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Can see why the Anderlecht fans came all the way over to KP just to see him. Proper old school centre back, no fear whatsoever and always committed. Hope he's here at least another year.
dbtcity Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 I have a feeling he will end up back at anderlecht next season, hope I'm wrong and he gets another year here though as he is an absolute beast!!!! Love the guy
Filbert_Ross Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Starting to win even me over! I thought Saturday was his best game in a city shirt personally. Fair play to him Can't believe it's taken until May 2015
KFS Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Just watched the full version on foxesplayer, he's asked about the relationship with the fans and a booming smile comes across his face. Love the guy, here's to his other peg being tattooed with a Leicester badge.
MrSpaM Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 His chest hair is so hard it's breaking through his shirt!
LCCFox96 Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Love the guy, here's to his other peg being tattooed with a Leicester badge. Haha this would be the ultimate endearment to our fans. Pride of place alongside that Anderlecht badge. Would still love to have a pre-season friendly, or even a testimonial for Wasyl against Anderlecht.
Guest Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Easily good enough to be playing in a back 3 for us in the prem next season.
elangLCFC Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Bloody Poles, coming to our country, stealing our jobs. Give me Matt Upson over him any day - English people for English jobs.
Lasty Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 I see him most mornings. His daughter goes to the same school as my lad. Top bloke. Walked into him by accident one morning and ended up flat on my arse. It was like walking into an iron wall!

Narborough_fox Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nl/nieuws/lees/2015-05-15/anderlecht-zette-alle-zeilen-bij-om-wasyl-terug-te-halen Anderlecht put all the stops to get back Wasyl Anderlecht during the winter break was eagerly looking for an extra central defender. The Brussels strikten the Portuguese Rolando, but initially wanted to go far to get back Marcin Wasilewski. That leaves his agent to the Polish people understand. The Belgian record champion was a beautiful proposal ready. He would first again be part of the core players and then flow into the position of coach at the club. All very alluring, but his current patron Leicester City put sticks in the wheels. This summer, the man-markers on a free transfer.
Carl the Llama Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 http://www.voetbalnieuws.be/news/180347/Anderlecht_deed_in_januari_dubbel_voorstel_aan_Wasilewski RSC Anderlecht had in januari graag Marcin Wasilewski terug gehaald. Wasilewski is in de zomer einde contract Anderlecht would have liked to get Wasyl back in January. But the Pole couldn't leave City. The player's agent has revealed to the Polish press that Anderlecht made a double prosal to him. "We worked on a very interesting offer from Anderlecht back then. Marcin would take a dual role. First as a player, then later as coach. Herman Van Holsebeeck had already bought a ticket to come to Leicester, but they didn't want to hear about a transfer." "Marcin was unhappy at the time, but then he got a lot of game time. Leicester must first be sure about their future and then talks will follow. Marcin is now an important player for them so why would he leave?" Wasilewski is out of contract in the summer.
Witch Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 is he still in the polish sqaud? Nope. The coach, Nawałka, seems to prefer one Thiago Cionek over Wasyl. Nobody knows why, because Cionek sucks the big time.
westernpark Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Never seen have a bad game. People saying he started the season off weakly, but I seem to remember him getting man of the match, in his first Prem game.
