cc_star Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 http://mirr.im/1c4RbP6 What a cock I never knew this was ongoing, if found guilty (which by the policeman's quotes he easily could be) Would it be grounds for dismissal? *edit* Events moved quicker than Mirror article and he's been found guilty
Bettsj2 Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 If we were rumoured to be signing him now, comments would mostly be along the lines of 'dont want him near my club' etc. I hope we cancel his contract.
Footballwipe Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 What an idiot, what an utter, utter idiot. Goodbye Danny. We'll miss you like a hole in the head. (thank god we only paid £2m for him)
ChrisWoodIsClass Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 is this the end of his time here? http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-s-Danny-Simpson-guilty-throttling/story-26541652-detail/story.html
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Get rid! Half the player Albrighton and de laet are. And a scumbag too if that's all true.
80footgiraffe Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Hope he gets the same treatment as Livermore. It's amazing what people think they can get away with if they have a bit of cash, deserves to be put in jail. Contract will definitely be cancelled.
Crinklyfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 If found guilty for an offence of that nature we can expect not to see him again for the remainder of his contract.
cc_star Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 is this the end of his time here? http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-s-Danny-Simpson-guilty-throttling/story-26541652-detail/story.html Damning! But in finding him guilty, District Judge Simmons said Simpson sounded 'aggressive and domineering' in the 999 call and she had no reason to doubt the account given by PC Hughes. "I reject your account as unworthy of belief," she said. "PC Hughes has no reason to lie. Therefore the defendant is guilty of assault by grabbing Miss Ward around the throat and throttling her. "I take the view this is a serious matter, aggravated by being in domestic context. I take the view it does pass the custody threshold. She is vulnerable because of the personal context and to strangle someone is akin to using a weapon. ramboacdc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 anyone who is asking if this is a sackable offence, ask yourself if you employer would stand by you if you went to prison.
bovril Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Must be the one of the most objectionable players to pull on the royal blue.
Stevosevic Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 anyone who is asking if this is a sackable offence, ask yourself if you employer would stand by you if you went to prison. But we all know football doesn't work in the real world, they get away with anything most employers wouldn't seem acceptable. If he doesn't go to prison, would he still be sacked? Probably not - in the real world you probably would regardless of prison or not
stevelcfc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Shite player, **** of a bloke. Fine him a years pay and cancel his contact.
Dan Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Get rid. Championship level right back and certainly nowhere near good enough to be worth baggage like that.
TOMBlcfc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Lets be honest we could have probably guessed he was a twat when we found out he went out with Tullisa 'the overly polished turd' Constaniosvxjenox. Dissapointed tbh Danny, deffo want him away from the club now though
