Freesolo Posted 4 June 2015 Author Posted 4 June 2015 Think this will be one of the best bits of business for the 'big' clubs. Liverpool's midfield is poor, especially with losing Gerrard also, Milner will be a top player for them if/when it goes through. Yea i agree Millner has a ton of experience thnk he will do well at liverpool, he can produce great deliveries on the wing would love him at Leicester
Banks Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Massimo Luongo says the prospect of starring in the Queens Park Rangers midfield was the key factor in his decision to snub a move to English Premier League side Aston Villa. https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/28271954/socceroo-luongo-completes-qpr-switch/ Think he will do ok in the championship, not good enough yet for Prem. was very decent this season. This is the type of signing they should have been making all along. Rumours that Diego Costa wants to leave Chelsea Really hope this happens. Great player, but despise Chelsea and Mourinho
Simo86 Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 but couldnt they offer him a phoney deal just to bump up compensation? The deal has to at least match the players current contract
AyewJoking Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 The deal has to at least match the players current contract yep so why not give him 100k per week on a 4 year deal? thats alot of compo.
Simo86 Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 yep so why not give him 100k per week on a 4 year deal? thats alot of compo. The compo has nothing to do with the contract offered. It's more to do with money spent on the players development as well as other things
Leicesterpool Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Liverpool agree deal for Milner. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33002472 Good signing for them, what they needed a good, strong, experienced, quality midfielder. Wasted at Man City, would benefit himself, Liverpool and England with him playing regular football.
AyewJoking Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 Liverpool agree deal for Milner. (after Cambiasso told them to **** off) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33002472
Dan Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 How much have QPR paid for Luongo? Is Milner seriously on £150k a week don't get me wrong he's had some harsh stick over the years but he's never worth that.
ScouseFox Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 milner and ings. could the be aiming for 8th place any more? if you take out sturridge who will probably never be fully fit again our strike force is better than liverpool's.
Dan Posted 5 June 2015 Posted 5 June 2015 I think most teams could say that. I'd say ours is considerably better if you lose Sturridge. Especially if we added Okazaki too.
foxfanazer Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Liverpool have signed Danny Ings.I can see him being a flop there. Think Austin is the better player out of the two
MrSpaM Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Liverpool have now got ten strikers Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Lambert, Borini, Aspas, Sinclair, Sterling, Yesil, Balotelli Does he honestly think he's even going to get a game there?!?
Danno Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Liverpool have now got ten strikers Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Lambert, Borini, Aspas, Sinclair, Sterling, Yesil, Balotelli Does he honestly think he's even going to get a game there?!? Yes, he'll be their main striker since Sturridge is made of glass and the rest are horrendous.
FoxLAD Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Liverpool have now got ten strikers Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Lambert, Borini, Aspas, Sinclair, Sterling, Yesil, Balotelli Does he honestly think he's even going to get a game there?!? Only Sturridge, Origi and ings i'd keep the rest i'd get rid.
Jimothy Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Liverpool have now got ten strikers Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Lambert, Borini, Aspas, Sinclair, Sterling, Yesil, Balotelli Does he honestly think he's even going to get a game there?!? As Dan says Sturridge is constantly broken so that's one out the way for the most part. Lambert might stay, but Rodgers clearly doesn't rate him that much. They've been trying to tell Borini he's not wanted for ages now, he just doesn't get the message. He's like a husband that still goes home every night acting like he's happily married months after his missus has told him she wants a divorce. Rodgers obviously doesn't want Mario anywhere near the first team any time soon either, he couldn't buy a start last year and they'll probably try and offload. Sterling isn't really a striker and I'm sure they'd rather not use him there. Anyway he wants out. Aspas is shit. Sinclair and Yesil are still kids. That leaves Origi and Ings battling for the forward role, or starting up top together. With one dropping out when Sturridge manages to actually be able to string 3 games together. I'm sure he'll get plenty of game time.
MC Prussian Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Barcelona sign Sevilla's right-back Aleix Vidal for £16m - but can't use him until the end of the year/start of 2016 due to their transfer ban. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33044583

Tielemans63 Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 Only Sturridge, Origi and ings i'd keep the rest i'd get rid. I think it was L'Equipe who named Origi in their worst 11 XI of the season. Should fit right in at Liverpool.
CosbehFox Posted 8 June 2015 Posted 8 June 2015 I think it was L'Equipe who named Origi in their worst 11 XI of the season. Should fit right in at Liverpool. L'Equipe are famously harsh for their ratings. It was an average rating of the season to which players had to play 25 games or more. According to French footy fans, they were far worst strikers but didn't make it to 25 games.
MikeyT Posted 9 June 2015 Posted 9 June 2015 Chelsea are reportedly set to bid £30m for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.
Banks Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 For those that follow Spanish Football, Tevez and Vietto are on their way to Atletico. Great signings by Simeone.
AKCJ Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 Chelsea are reportedly set to bid £30m for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. Would like to see him play in England. Under rated because of Messi, Aguero and Tevez. He's one of my favourite non-LCFC players.
