Ollie93 Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 If Benteke is leaving Villa, I don't see why Chelsea don't sign him, he would fit well in their team.
David Guiza Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 Would like to see him play in England. Under rated because of Messi, Aguero and Tevez. He's one of my favourite non-LCFC players. Ditto, seems like the kind of player who would follow Aguero and Tevez and less so Forlan or Veron. Seems very suited to the English game. Didn't Arsenal try to sign him before Napoli? Could definitely see Benteke there also as Ollie says, doesn't get much more Drogba than him and he'd thrive of Hazard I'm sure.
The Blur Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 Swansea sign Ayew on a free transfer. They seem to have a knack of pulling off a creative player signing on a cheap. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/10/swansea-city-andre-ayew-signs-ghana Tom Ince to Derby for £6 million... Like Derby can afford that.
Freesolo Posted 11 June 2015 Author Posted 11 June 2015 If Benteke is leaving Villa, I don't see why Chelsea don't sign him, he would fit well in their team. Isn't Benteke just a watered down version of Diego Costa, they are both big lumps that are a handful for defenders. Having two players like that one is going to have to sit on the bench. It would be like playing Ulloa and say Chris Wood up front they are both target men?

Apparently Costa want to leave so Chelsea is looking at Benteke as a contingency plan I believe.
TOMBlcfc Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Taarabt just signed for Benfica. Ideal club to get his career back on track imo definitely needs a kick up the arse
FoxLAD Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Charlie Austin to Chelsea? He'd do well there... if he got on the pitch. http://www.thesportbible.com/articles/big-club-attemp-to-hijack-newcastle-s-austin-deal

Jimothy Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Well that'll be Rickie Lambert all over again Charlie Austin is much younger so I don't think he'll play as little as Lambert did, but I don't think he'll start every week. Would be a waste, he should go Newcastle, he'll play every week.
Soar Fox Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 Austin needs to get his arse to Swansea. Or Leicester.
MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 For those that follow Spanish Football, Tevez and Vietto are on their way to Atletico. Great signings by Simeone. Nothing confirmed as of yet - Tévez might leave for Argentina with Boca Juniors interested, the Vietto deal could not go through due to transfer irregularities at Atlético in the recent few years.
RedHux Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 He's been banging on about going back to Argentina for ages now. Long before the Serie A season finished. I was surprised when it looked like he was going to Spain...and in a slightly less glamosous vein, Jamie Mackie has buggered off back to QPR.....but to keep things spangly, Ibrahimovic returning to Milan is all over the papers has been for weeks. (can't see it myself)
davieG Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Trippier set for Tottenham talks ahead of £3.5m move Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier will hold talks with Tottenham as they edge closer to completing a deal
Narborough_fox Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Sven Ulreich has signed for Bayern Munich meaning Pepe Reina is probably going back to Napoli.
Dan Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 £3.5mil for Trippier is a class bit of business. Far better than that fraud Walker.
Freesolo Posted 18 June 2015 Author Posted 18 June 2015 Cannot Believe liverpool are trying to hold City to ransom over Sterling I would have snapped their hand off for £40m and be rid of the pleb
Grantham Fox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Cannot Believe liverpool are trying to hold City to ransom over Sterling I would have snapped their hand off for £40m and be rid of the pleb Unfortunately, Man City will probably increase their offer. As said before, and everyone knows it, Man City will pay whatever it takes and English players are stupidly overpriced. Deulofeu for £2.2m, Sterling for £50m? Then add wages etc...
J.Lisemore Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 £50M for Sterling is almost certainly up there with £40M for David Luiz.
filbertway Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 The worst thing about the high transfer will be people going "£x million for that?" or "£x million Sterling <something negative>"
