I changed my broadband last Thursday to NowTV broadband. Watched Thursday match on my IPTV, no problem. Friday I never tried, Saturday dinner time I put it on but it wouldn't work, tested it Sunday morning it worked, tried again Sunday noon for the match, not working. Worked again Monday morning, not Monday evening, but worked again late (11ish) Monday night. Didn't work again tonight so I tried putting it through the Hola VPN, both America and UK, no luck.

I don't know whether it's the site not working or NowTV blocking me? any ideas?

If you put it through a VPN and your internet was working for basic browsing, it has to be the service.

It's a shame it was a good service as well. I've messaged them and they reckon it's okay. I'll give it until the weekend and if it aint better I'll have to look for an alternative.

Yeah that works, anything on Google Playstore that loads up on to Andriod will work under the same subscription.

With Netflix App you can download films and shows onto the tablet, this is what I do with my lads tablet before we go away.

That’s who I use, good service.

There was a cheaper one, not much, but I remember someone on here said they used it so I assumed it'd be okay.

At least I've not got to listen to that arse Stringer anymore.

The Premier League has helped shut down an illegal streaming app that enabled 43 MILLION users to watch top-flight matches online.

Europe's top leagues have been making increased efforts to clamp down on illegal streams showing their games, and they have been rewarded this week with the permanent shut-down of the world's largest infringing streaming app Mobdro.

A statement released by the Premier League on Thursday detailed the latest anti-piracy work being done by the English top flight, with a 'major investigation and criminal referral by the Premier League and the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE)' resulting in law enforcement action by Spanish police.

It has been reported that police have arrested one individual and are questioning a further three following their investigations, and Mobdro have now ceased all operations.

The company illegally made available a large catalogue of live TV and video content from around the world, including Premier League and other top European football, with users able to stream to mobile devices, TVs, tablets and other devices.

It has been reported that Mobdro made up to €5m (£4.3m) from people using their service before it was shut down by police following an investigation.

Mobdro's problems began last month when it was reported by users that the service was no longer functioning correctly, with speculation that is was subject to law enforcement action.

That has now been confirmed, with the service completely shut down and the Premier League celebrating a huge victory in their fight against piracy.

Premier League Director of Legal Services Kevin Plumb said: 'Mobdro's criminal enterprise amounted to long-running and large-scale theft.

These raids show we and our colleagues at ACE are committed to taking action against piracy, regardless of location.

I always wonder how they made any money because the streams were 'free', well the football ones anyway.

It's a shame they don't make access more affordable instead of colluding with the media companies, having to subscribe to Sky, BT and now Amazon on the chance that one of your games might be shown. I mean BT £25/mth and no guarantee that you'll be on.

Now we're out of the EU does their joke ruling on competitivity/monopolies still apply.

Surely they're not that stupid. As long as there is a need and interest there will always be streams no matter what they try. Shutting them down is just a game of whack-a-mole.

The music industry gave up in the end didn’t it? That’s how Spotify etc was born. They could not stop it and neither will football while it continues to charge extortionate prices.

Yep, the Pirate Bay (torrents not so much streaming) seems to have been around forever now despite the Swedish authorities actually seizing all of their hardware at one point. I think all of the ISPs have blocked it in the UK for a while now but the countless proxy sites mean that's just a toothless move really.

I could have put this in the computer help but it's more likely to be seen here. I've just bought a new android box, but my IPTV needs the IPTV Smarters app. It won't let me install it, says I need to put in an SD card (16 GB) which I have but it still says it hasn't got enough storage. I can down load other apps. Any suggestions please?

Forget it, it's sorted. It's taken me since 9.30 this morning lol
