I need to get a new android box, there are options for more memory, ie 2 GB+16GB or 4GB+64GB.

How much do you really need for streaming, is it worth paying extra for more memory?

Not sure how much memory my basic firestick has - I assume not much, but that streams effortlessly.

Edit: just checked. They have 8Gb

Actually, I've got an old firestick, I might try that.

I still use it for match streams yeah.... What other alternatives are their through an Nvidia shield?? I'm open to trying new tech.

Streams are too hit and miss. Firestick with smart tv and a 12m sub to iptv Is the best way at least for the moment. Heard a rumour that Amazon are changing the firestick to something Linux based next year.

Agreed, I can't imagine going back to the days of frantically searching for a stream 10 minutes before kick off, only for it to have Chinese commentary and then randomly switch to a different game half way through lol

Just select the ifollow channel for our match and it's there, and usually faultless.

Which IPTV?? I'm assuming none are "above board" as such?

Yep, found this year really easy to watch. Quite enjoyed ifollow with the amateur commentary and terrible production value!

No, not above board. I don’t want to share details on a public forum but there are many resellers, sometimes advertising on eBay but if you google iptv subscription you’ll find a few. Safer still if you know someone who can recommend one.

Can anyone recommend any good IPTV subs for Firesticks?

Yeah keen to see some recommendations from people who have a specific service. You look on Reddit and Twitter and it's just bots shilling diff services - no confidence they're any good.

Is a Firestick necessary for IPTV? I’m so out of it on tech that I don’t understand what works with what.

I’m mainly thinking about next season because this year I’ve managed to find a stream for every game by googling soccer streams. With my VPN I’ve always managed to find one that works well.

No, you can use IPTV on a Windows platform

If you’ve managed to find streams without iptv this year you’ll be even easier next year in the prem. Wouldn’t worry about iptv unless you want to watch other sports, Netflix, films

Disagree, iptv on Firestick through smart TV has got me every game for the last 3 years, in 4K or fhd, and very rarely fails. Streaming games was a chore, rarely consistent and full of porn/pop ups/ ads and the occasional virus/trojan. Add to that the other sports, films, series, box sets, Disney etc. that are available for around £60 a year it’s a no brainer.
Add a multi room to the package and the whole family are sorted 👍

I agree and love iptv. Just had the darts on. But if the poster has managed to find streams easily this year when there’s only one broadcast provider, and they only need streams for city matches, iptv is prob an unnecessary step for them

Just got a new provider for my FireStick software (renews/expires on NYD each each year). Absolutely brilliant interface for the price, extensive channel list, movies and series available. Can even watch each PL, EFL and Non-League game on-demand until the teams next game. £60 a year is half the price I was paying per month for Sky.
