Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 The stadium there looks tasty - bigger than ours. oh no it aint sonnnnn
benpicko Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Stephen Hughes...4-3 spurs fa cup. Classic game I can't help but think that the Aranguiz deal is dead. Can see Inler and Kante working with Drinkwater/King too. Better than last seasons, which is what we are after Why would it be dead if we're the only club to have their bid accepted and they were discussing our wages today? Also from what I know of Inler he's not an Aránguiz type player is he? We were after him a few days ago anyway and nothing's changed in the Inler transfer as far as I know
OhBastian Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 That classic you could almost forget it was 3-2 That be the one... its been a long 72hrs with too many wheels, needles, villages and dodgy looking italian agents. Forgive me sir
benpicko Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Just taken a peek at the Leverkusen Fans forum. Not as funny as you lot. Basically the view there is, this fellar is on his way to Europe right now to sign for either Bayer 04 or Leicester. They are even quoting stuff off of here, so if any one wants to post all Krauts are W'anchors, it could spice things it up. But donot mention the war - shit I just have. In a nutshell they do not have a Scooby either right now but they are much calmer than us and probably quietly confident. The stadium there looks tasty - bigger than ours. Link to the forum?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Fvck Bayer, we need this bloke more This, they can target another class midfield player leave Aranguiz for us
filbertstreet Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Link to the forum? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1966_FIFA_World_Cup_Final Whoops typo, werkself.de
mozartfox Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Yep I stand corrected. Slightly smaller . The picture I saw was deceiving! On the backing, that is exactly what Drug Money can do for you!
Brooksy Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Can't see it being us if we're getting Kante and Inler.

whoareyaaa Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 That be the one... its been a long 72hrs with too many wheels, needles, villages and dodgy looking italian agents. Forgive me sir you forgot the bullet.
Mark_from_USA Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 This is confusing because it was Germany that he preferred ... that is what was stated earlier, but Leverkusen had been outbid by us and we are offering a much better package The quotes about him preferring Germany were from one of his two agents - the one representing him to Leverkusen. It was probably meant as FUD to dissuade others from bidding for him. They player may well prefer Germany, or he may not, but most of the rumours we chase are pretty much all agents trying to improve their negotiating position, I think.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 This still seems as unlikely as ever to me. The talk of a double announcement also seems odd. I'd imagine the club would prefer to string it out across two separate announcements. Still think Inler sounds more plausible than Aranguiz.
WiFoxes Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 We had a deadline set to sign the player by today...and suddenly he's leaving Internacional today. We had a fee agreed and Bayer did not. All signs pointing to us. So it's probably not us.

Agree with all of this.I've not seen enough of Aranguiz anyway to get too excited beyond last year's World Cup. I've liked Inler every time I've seen him. Ideally we'd get both but It will neither be upsetting or surprising if Leverkusen sign Aranguiz, particularly if we land Inler.
OhBastian Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Another 12hrs of pain it is then! Looks like nothing is going to be announced tonight with the morning announcment looking more likely. Press conference on Monday or Wednesday

True losing out to Bayer isn't a big deal... we have signed Kante and looks like we are close to getting Inler, still two excellent players

gerrytaggart Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 He read both foxestalk and werkself.de and decided on balance he prefers our bantz. Welcome to England Charles.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 Reports suggest OM have upped there bid? If they didn't have 9 million euros for Kante they don't have 15 for Aranguiz
