I wouldn't be surprised if Gustavo Fring is involved in these transfer negotiations somehow.

I doubt it. He'll send Mike to give him an offer he cant refuse.

Morning Campers. It transpires his best mate (Marcelo Diaz) who plays for HSV (Hamburg)is praying he signs for Bayer 04 and is wooing him plus porn star Rudi Voller is hopeful the deal will be completed 'soon'.

Stating the obvious, may be we should up our offer a bit and blow the Germans out of this poker game? In the

scheme of things, if this guy helps us stay in the PL, a few more quid is nothing?

BL offer stands at €9.8 million. Ours is €15 million. Because of his third part ownership BL's offer is highly unlikely to be accepted.

I think he will be more or less forced to accept our offer or stay where he is. Unless of course BL match our bid. Then there is still the pay package for them to overcome and the signing on fee.

I think we'll get him, but he might not be here long.

I disagree with this. By accepting BL's offer, they give up €5m of our money, by keeping him they give up €9.8m of BL's money plus his wages (admittedly they are relatively low at present).

It all depends on whether they want €9.8m now or not. I think they might take it.

Unfortunately for Aranguiz, and fortunately for us, he is a commodity. Now in business, and let's take the personal side out of this, if someone offered you £10,000 for your old car or £15000, which would you take? Remember he is owned, not by his club, but by businessmen, an extra 5 million euro's is a lot to give up. I don't suppose they are too bothered where he ends up. My main concern is we have our offer accepted and the player has little interest in playing for us, under performs and we are forced to sell. The best case scenario in that case is if we have a sell on clause in the contract.

The scenario presented was they take our money or do not.

That's not the case, they could take our money or less. But not taking someone's money isn't an option.

Until he signs for us, I unfortunately think he'll be going to Bayer.

His owners cannot force him to accept our offer though. If someone offered you 15000 or 10000 for your car you'd accept the 15000. But then after closer inspection the guy offering 15000 pulls out of the deal you'll be more likely to go back and offer it to the guy paying 10000.

If charlie boy refuses to join us, his owners might still want to cash in and therefore accept the lower offer

But that's my point.

15 or 10 million euro's. Which would you take if you were in their shoes?

Like I said, I feel for the player, who obviously prefers BL as an option, but appears to have little say in the matter. All Leicester have done is put a spanner in the works and the greed of the people representing Aranguiz is pertaining.

If the player refuses the contract the businessmen get nothing. They can try to force him to accept the contract. I'm sure they have a lot of leverage. But if he sticks by his guns and says he isn't signing, they wouldn't leave €9.8m on the table.

We don't know how much say in the matter the player has. I'd imagine he would have a clause in his contract with his owners saying that a buying club would have to be mutually approved. At least I would.
