So they are Brazils answer to Ian Stringer and Jason Bourne then? I wouldn't be so quick to believe what they say.

They are just repeating what the club directors have said.

The biggest factor is whether Leicester are willing to play the waiting game. The rejection is just to force Inters hand, if they don't cave he could well change his mind.

If we don't want to play that game and wait for him, then it will be dead as we'll go elsewhere.

You do realise you can negotiate with more than one player at a time don't you?

Sources in Brasil are saying that he will stay at inter.

Doubt it. He's waiting for another club to come in, but none will match our bid, so eventually he'll sign for us.

He won't seriously turn down playing in the premier league and the huge wage increase, will he?

No but we are weak in midfield

Erm, yes. Stating the obvious.

From what I gather, there's negotiations taking place with more than just one additional midfielder at the moment.

No need to panic.

I honestly think the guy will only come to Europe for Champions league football. To be fair, he has said NO from the start! He just talked to us just to be nice. It's like the pretty girls you chat up on Saturday nights. They will talk to ya, but they ain't coming home with ya.

Haha - you need to work harder on those girls.

Of course I do but you do realise we still do not have the cambiasso replacement as promised don't you?

Not because he want to stay, bur because inter wants 15M and Leicester was the only one who would pay that.

I don't believe he will stay in Brazil. I think his owners are pushing us for a bit extra even though we are the highest bidders.

Eventually the money will talk and he will walk. We will get our man I think. Just hope the negotiators are clever enough to offer him a big club shaped light at the end of the Leicester tunnel.

Depends what was expected of Cambiasso this year.

You do realise the window is open for another month or so? Did they promise it for today?

We could go out and sign any piece of shit from lower leagues that nobody else wants... Would you be happy with that?

Claudio said Cambiasso replacement by end of the week

Careful, the boys'll be wondering if you've "got the painters round" or if it's "your time of the month".

No he said cambiasso's replacement would sign before the weekend just gone, but he was also rushing cambiasso because he said he had to have a player like him before the season started!

Let's be honest, his agents know how desperate we are as well as we do. Announcing he is going back to Brazil? I wonder why they would do that.

He said nothing of the sort, you need to go and read the quotes again.

Unfortunate if he's rejected us, but it happens.

But, a big but.. there's no way he's going to stay with Internacional, playing dirt poor opposition near the prime of his career when European teams in the Prem, and Champions League are courting him - especially if said clubs are willing to offer an arm and a leg for his services.

Money does talk, I fully expect the offer to stay on the table right up until the end of the transfer window // until a suitable midfielder has been signed instead. If Bayer can't match our bid, nor OM - then I think his agent / part owner may want to push him out of the door.

I don't think it's over.
