I wouldn't be so quick to believe what they say.They are just repeating what the club directors have said.The biggest factor is whether Leicester are willing to play the waiting game. The rejection is just to force Inters hand, if they don't cave he could well change his mind. If we don't want to play that game and wait for him, then it will be dead as we'll go elsewhere.

Eventually the money will talk and he will walk. We will get our man I think. Just hope the negotiators are clever enough to offer him a big club shaped light at the end of the Leicester tunnel.

But, a big but.. there's no way he's going to stay with Internacional, playing dirt poor opposition near the prime of his career when European teams in the Prem, and Champions League are courting him - especially if said clubs are willing to offer an arm and a leg for his services. Money does talk, I fully expect the offer to stay on the table right up until the end of the transfer window // until a suitable midfielder has been signed instead. If Bayer can't match our bid, nor OM - then I think his agent / part owner may want to push him out of the door. I don't think it's over.
