st albans fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 You mean like Kante... Who now looks likely to sign. Please think things through before posting. Who was quoted as saying he was possibly interested once we changed manager to someone he had heard of and respected. If we want aranguiz, do we have to sack Claudio?
ARM1968 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Yeah that does look terminal. Up the wage offer by £5k. Give him today and Sunday, then walk away. It's a business, players are commodities, he is coming across as a bell end. Although you have to ask why we haven't spoken to the lad directly when our team have been out there for days.
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 Text book stuff... Reject offer, make personal plea. It's in Inters court, Bayer can't afford him, if they don't accept the offer then he'll come knocking on the door here.
HankMarvin Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Jesus Christ this lad is practically tearing into us with these quotes. He sounds like a right knob I'm glad he's not coming here now PR disaster for the club
Tuna Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 PR disaster for the club Explain. We haven't gone public with interest in him.
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 Who was quoted as saying he was possibly interested once we changed manager to someone he had heard of and respected. If we want aranguiz, do we have to sack Claudio? No he didn't say that. And the comment he did make was a week or so down the line, after his chairman played hard ball and didn't cave to the lower offer of OM.
Master Fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 He forgot the first principle in football. Money is everything. He'll come back licking our bumhole soon enough the little weasel.
SilverFox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 This San guy...you have read his Twitter profile right? You do know he is a student/freelance writer? Hardly a reputable source.

Callabinho Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 He said he's happy to play for Inter if he cant go to Bile Leverc*nts though... But would Inter reject €15 million?
weller54 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 He forgot the first principle in football. Money is everything. He'll come back licking our bumhole soon enough the little weasel.[/quote Hoppppppppeeeerrrrrrr!
Matt Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Explain. We haven't gone public with interest in him. But if (Yes we're speculating again, assuming, but we have nothing to go on spectulation and assumption is all we can discuss really) the club new from the start he wasn't interest why no come out with a statement saying we would not be following it up, not even any need for a statement just get Ranieri to say it after one of the friendlies in his interview. That way you nip it in the bud, no more speculation, no more links, doesn't turn into a saga it has turned into.

st albans fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 This San guy...you have read his Twitter profile right? You do know he is a student/freelance writer? Hardly a reputable source. There is the other fella, plus the club director, plus the interview. (Although no idea how old the interview is)
matty98 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Why would anyone want to come to Leicester when they can play in a decent league and play in the champions league, it's hardly surprising, personally I have a lot of respect for him for not just going where the money is
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 He said he's happy to play for Inter if he cant go to Bile Leverc*nts though...Oh course he says that. He's trying to force their hand. If he said "if you don't cave in to the lower offer, I'll just go to Leicester at the end of it anyway" then it would be a shitty negotiation. All this stuff will go on all the time, it's just usually behind closed doors. They do it a bit differently over there!
HankMarvin Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Explain. We haven't gone public with interest in him. Oh no its just on media outlets that a fee has been agreed, and the player is quoted as saying he doesn't want to come to this club. Do you not think this might be considered detrimental to other potentials targets, how many players have not wanted to come here in the last week after a fee was agreed? James chester Jordan Veretout Gokhan Inler Again if he has been selected in a friendly after a fee was agreed he obviously has made it clear to the club, otherwise they would not risk injury Charles Aranguiz if quotes are true Cambiasoo
chapero82 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I wouldn't want to sign a player like that anyway, what a big baby
conLAD logan Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Can't wait to get home from work tonight to find out he's joined us.
4everfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 But would Inter reject €15 million? If someone else bids 15 million I'd imagine they would accept like they did when we bid that much. I reckon ze Germans will stick to their guns and hope they accept 10 million which I don't think they will. Whatever price the third party have been promised by us will need to be matched and I don't think ze Germans have the financial clout to match us. He's obviously trying to force his way out and if it fails maybe Leicester wont look like such a bad proposition after all.
