gerrytaggart Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 So you're blaming Sky? Let's look a little closer to home and work out the answer to why he (And others) don't want to sign for us. Stringer?
Matt Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Stringer? Well tbf didn't I see someone posted something about that if we didn't announce a signing yesterday he'd be shocked? Some 'ITK' and close-nit reported he is.
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 Good lord people need to get a grip, we're led to believe Kante turned us down originally and that he's now accepted. There is a game of chicken going on with inter and DIS on one side, and the players agent on the other. Just as there was with Caen and Kante. Araguniz agent turned down the offer from us hoping to force inter and DIS to panic about not getting any money and accept the lower offer. If the board and DIS don't budge, and Bayer or OM don't stump up more cash his options are to stay where he is, or come to us. The tactic seems to have worked with Kante, the only issue is time and we might not want to play a waiting game. With the season a week away we may just go for someone else.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 How can he not agree terms won't be offered anything better anywhere else he goes!!
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 Guys we are a football club offering a considerable amount of money. Ofcourse the first offer would be rejected and leaked to the press. Until it's officially confirmed by him it's all part of the negotiation process to get more money.Glad someone else understands negotiations.

Jattdogg Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Hasn't it been like that since Estaban decided he was too good for us this season. Yes but it was always going to be tough to find someone of his calibre. That said if we cant get these guys then we night aswell stick with what we have instead of over paying for anyone
st albans fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 How can he not agree terms won't be offered anything better anywhere else he goes!! He may get a similar package at Bayer. They don't want to pay the higher fee, preferring to give a bigger wage to the player. I doubt Marseilles will pay what we will in salary.

This isn't dead at all, Inter will force a deal through and won't accept a penny less, BL won't match our offer because they will probably feel they won't need to as time goes on, he will more than likely be stuck in the reserves if he doesn't accept, they want the money.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Would rather be at a bigger club and win things maybe? Won't win anything at the clubs who are interested.
KP Fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I honestly think the guy will only come to Europe for Champions league football. To be fair, he has said NO from the start! He just talked to us just to be nice. It's like the pretty girls you chat up on Saturday nights. They will talk to ya, but they ain't coming home with ya.

Kitchandro Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Would rather be at a bigger club and win things maybe? Win stuff, possibly, but not the league or the Champions League. The german cup maybe. Bigger club - who are we on about here? Leverkusen? They have smaller ground than us, it's just they play in a league where there aren't so many big clubs. That's why they're in the Champions League. Where would they finish in England? We're victims of being in a country that is a hotbed for football, sadly.
4everfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 We wouldn't have bid for him if we didn't know for a fact that we would have a chance of signing him. Who is this Alexandre Ernst? And who is this Zizouology or whatever his name is?
Babylon Posted 1 August 2015 Author Posted 1 August 2015 yep all we need is for him to wait a month then realise nobody else wants him, offer even more ridiculous money and he might eventually, begrudgingly settle for us. wicked! We're aiming for top players with good options elsewhere, if we want that level of player we need to play the game differently. They won't be attracted to a team having only been in the league a year. We're no top level players first choice, we need to accept that. The only ones wanting us as first choice are either from lower leagues or ones not wanted by decent clubs.

gerrytaggart Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 My emotions are too extreme...I think he is coming here and I love his little face....I dont think he is coming here and I cant stand the little ****.
4everfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 They are local Brazilian reporters. So they are Brazils answer to Ian Stringer and Jason Bourne then? I wouldn't be so quick to believe what they say.
FrankieADZ Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 knew that gut feeling was right, guess we better move on to other targets
