ScouseFox Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Group D looks pretty tough. Wales Austria Serbia ROI Moldova Georgia I'd question England's chances in that group really. our u21 team would win that group and probably go unbeaten through it too. wales are shit, austria are shit, serbia are absolutely shit, ireland are shit, i don't even know where moldova is and georgia don't even know what footy is.
purpleronnie Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Another great qualifying group for England, keep getting them thankfully. Scotland will be a real battle though.
Dan Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 did everyone who keeps saying how lucky we always are miss the last world cup?! Costa Rica won that group. It was hard on paper. On grass, it was easy, and we went out.
Bert Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I think we'd get through that. Serbia are one of these sides who aren't as good as they really should be. Austria are steady but not great. Ireland are shit.Agree. Serbia's purple patch has been and gone although it would be a tricky away test. But you'd expect maximum points from every home game plus 2 of the weaker teams.
Nalis Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Group A is ridiculously difficult, the Wales group is an incredible chance for them or Ireland to qualify. England to walk their group, Scotland to get 2nd in that group. As for Northern Ireland, we'll do well to finish 3rd.
Finnegan Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 It's an okay draw for us. Some tough teams. Very even top four to be honest. Could be worse, could be better.
Finnegan Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 How on earth did Romania end up a top seed How did we?
Jattdogg Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Even if we make it to russia we arent going to win the cup unless Woy disappears and messi has a long lost twin brother on falklands who wants to represent england.
Asha Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 England Fixtures then... 2016 Sunday 4 September - Slovakia (A) Saturday 8 October - Malta (H) Tuesday 11 October - Slovenia (A) Friday 11 November - Scotland (H) 2017 Sunday 26 March - Lithuania (H) Saturday 10 June - Scotland (A) Friday 1 September - Malta (A)Monday 4 September - Slovakia (H) Thursday 5 October - Slovenia (H) Sunday 8 October - Lithuania (A)
Simmo86 Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Slovakia away first up is good. Get toughest game out of the way early doors.
ScouseFox Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 pretty much all them aways would be so sick. is it impossible to get england away tickets? or is it just luck? or do you have to be a member, go to wembley loads an all that shite?
Stadt Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Are Malta one of the sides that get beat 8-0 every game
Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Are Malta one of the sides that get beat 8-0 every game Not quite, they did beat Lithuania recently, and most defeats seem to be kept to a couple of goals. But they still lose most games.

You have to be a member for aways. Then tickets are allocated on a loyalty points based system.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Buzzing for Malta away. Slovenia was mint last month by all accounts and what with the Scotland fixture too,it looks like I'll be renewing!

You have to be a member but there are always people selling theirs once out there. Or go in the hone end

Or go in the hone end yeah might just go on holiday to slovakia again and if i end up at the match then tidy, if not i'll be too drunk to care anyway. bratislava was well fun when i went last year, but apparently they dont play home games anywhere near there. malta and slovenia would be great too and i've never been to lithuania so might be an option. years away yet like but does look like fun.

We've just booked Lithuania for this October. Only £250 each for flights and 3 nights hotel. Think we've only been allocated 250 tickets though but we've got tickets in the home end I think as back up
CosbehFox Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Lithuania just released their tickets for the home end. Judging from the prices I doubt most locals can afford it.
Nalis Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Vilnius is fun alright, best looking women ever too. Found the people far nicer there than in Riga. That was about 8 years ago though so not sure if things have changed much since then there.
