Leicester City Vs Sunderland Match Thread

In all seriousness though, I would like to see us take control of games more this season, slow the tempo down and pass it around abit.

Our team are renowned for high energy/quick players but we couldn't keep that up for 90 mins every single game. (I know style of play will change with opponents)

But maybe come out and take control second half and then step tempo up after 15/20 mins

How do you know what'll happen in the 2nd half?

When was the last time we was top of the premier league after a full weekend of football? 2000/2001 time?

This will look good when transfer negotiations start again Monday lol

I've gone through the 5 stages of grief in 45 minutes.

Denial - Can't believe we're getting tanked off these shithouses.
Anger - What the **** are you doing Sunderland, you're ****ing shit!!!
Bargaining - Please don't make it 4-0...pleaseeee. I'd take a draw now!
Depression - We're definitely gonna get relegated. May as well burn my shirt now.
Acceptance - Don't know why I expected anything different. May as well laugh really.

The belief in the team is still there. The start was worrying, three at the back had been the way to go, however the dominance shown after the first ten minutes has been impressive. It's the first time I've seen Okazaki and he looks like a great fit to the squad. Mahrez and Albrighton are having great games.

No changes at half time for me but if we're still 3-0 with 20 minutes to go I can see Kante and Kramaric coming on as the pace of the game will have tired the team in this heat by then.

Someone just pointed out that the last time we were 3-0 up at half-time was when we lost 4-3 to Wolves in 2003. Somehow I don't see history repeating itself, he fate-tempted.

Okazaki is a fabulous signing, answers a lot of questions this game.

Great touch, absolute manic composure when it comes to picking out passes - a hound from the front.

Dream of a half. Mahrez, Vardy and Okazaki on a different level!

Honourable mentions to Drinkwater and De Laet too.

Got a lot to thank Kasper for keeping them out early doors

Pretty much all 11 have contributed so far. :)

But I thought drinkwater was shit. Must be someone else playing if we are dominating.

Or have people just written a player off before they hit form?

He was pretty poor last season in all fairness.. Really hope he shows us what he's capable of this!!!

Just to establish, the Aussies haven't given up on cricket and are trying their hand at football this afternoon, right?

As an Aussie I resemble that comment! :-) Not funny but I did remark to my 2 English mates halfway through that half that the Aussies rushed to the KP and donned Sunderland outfits!
