I will be interested to see if fans contiune to use the clap banners next season if the club still contiune to give them out at home games. As the club have stated I think it will depend on the quantity of supporters using them across the stadium each week at home.

If others want to use them and get enjoyment from them, that's not a problem, more people are involved with the songs and to be fair I can't deny they have dramatically helped the atmosphere over the 2 years they've been in use, alongside the usual Union FS and L1 vocalness of course. They seem to work for us, given the successes of the team and ongoing credit for our atmosphere. I still don't believe our atmosphere was that bad where we needed them in the first place though. Whether we keep them or not, everyone's still supporting the team which is good, and like I've just said above, people seem to like using them which is also good as fans are enjoying themselves.

Before clappers = shit atmosphere, after clappers = best in the UK I personally don't use mine but let's not moan about them plenty of jealous fans of other clubs to do that.

Apologies for going back a while and I haven't read the whole thread, but my lad is very shy and quiet, the clapper makes him join in and make some noise. Not enough to drown me out mind... But they definitely get people involved who wouldn't normally be

Whatever peoples points of view on clappers, our noise has been phenomenal.

Tomorrow is our biggest game ever and could be defining in making history so lets ramp it off the Richter Scale.

Let's just make loads of noise, whether it's with clappers, your hands, your voices, banging the plastic at the back of the stands, drums, JUST GET INVOLVED!!

We need to help the team, Ranieri has clearly said how the atmosphere helps. Listen to the boss.

You must not leave the game tomorrow without a sore throat and hands that sting from so much clapping.

If the game has slow parts or God forbid West Ham get on top, we need to step up to the mark.

COME ON LEICESTER!

No doubt this season will be one we will always remember. Tomorrow those of us lucky enough to be in attendance have the chance to be part of something really special. Win tomorrow and, well, I'm not going to say it, but you know what I mean.

What a privilege, frankly.

I'm wearing my clapper out today.

Strange I been watching from various area of the ground this season, and they don't stop in SK1 , SK2 back 4 rows almost don't stop.

It needs to reverberate around the ground. When I've watched from there, those fans really get behind even in nervous patches through matches. Guess everyone else is chewing their nails.

Everyone need to play their part

Norwich had them today and their atmosphere was garbage.

Anyway, let's fvcking go for it tomorrow!

They didn't seem to know what to do with them apart from wave them around

Everyone get a few beers inside you again. Last week almost everyone had a few free ones and the atmosphere was great! Let's see if that is the reason ;)

Last Sunday at the stadium of light my voice literally went at the end, I couldn't speak, never been that bad before, even at Selhurst Park where we seemed to stay there singing for hours.
