Kante

Just said he does not know if he will be at Leicester next season.

No players commit themselves, because someone could offer £40m and the club accept it. All players say the same stuff constantly, "concentrating on this season, not bothered about speculation, who knows what the future holds".

Really hope Kante doesn't leave, but what he has said means nothing, we will only sell if a huge offer is made, which is too much to refuse. Top won't sell for anything less. If we win the league I think it will help us keep him.

Sky Sports making something out of nothing by the sounds of it. Sounds like he's only concentrating on us which is what we want to hear. It obvious that clubs will be interested in him, especially if he's now cementing himself into the France side. Will take big money to prize him away mind.

It's sometimes difficult to know exactly what some foreign players are exactly referring to with their accent. When he said that, he was smiling, which tells me he was simply reflecting the question, but it can look bad. Being out on international duty gives agents the ability to mix with money people.

Sky have just posted "stand by for some bad news on his future"

This is the sort of stuff that could get under his skin. He seems quite a sensitive chap.

He has just provided the boiler plate answer from any top footballer. I'm focused on my club, and who knows what the future holds.

Just actually watched the interview and all he says is "See what happens" when asked if he'll still be here next year, pretty terrible fishing by Sky for a headline on a slow news day.

I don't think any Leicester fan is so deluded we don't realise we are going to have to fight to keep what are clearly World Class players this summer, they don't need Sky to tell us.

Kante seems one of the less attached players I have to say, he's quiet and reserved and it's hard to know what he thinks really.

I think given the resources we have and the length of contract our best players are under we will keep them for another year and then certainly Mahrez and Kante will move on. Until recently I though Vardy would finish his career here but the more you see him evolve the more you suspect he would like to pull on the jersey of a massive club before he's done. I actually suspect he'd quite like a crack at a big foreign club.

We just have to make sure we're already scouting their replacements, as I have no doubts Walsh is, and what will be will be.

It's all about the money

We should offer him £125k a week and and a buy out clause thats fair to all

Gray for Mahrez was first obvious one I can see ?

The striker lad in Russia for Vardy maybe

Kante , well how do you replace possibly the best box to box midfielder in Europe ?

Loosing him scares me the most

I agree I see no reason we sell for at least one more season , but then again money talks

He's likely to leave I think, so many top teams will be keen. Let's be honest, all the very top. Barca, Real, PSG and Juve will all want him. Be a miracle if he's still here.

All big teams had to start somewhere. Maybe this is the start of something even more amazing than we realise.

Mind you back on planet earth I think holding on to Mahrez will be tough but not impossible, and as I've already said I think Kante will be with us next season at least. Hope so because he really is the difference.

Saying we will see what happens, isn't the same as saying he wants to leave and will force it through by throwing a tantrum. So it should still be up to the club if they want to accept a bid.

If we got offered silly money then it's more than likely we have an eye on someone we can purchase with that money, and some left over to invest in to bolster our squad for the upcoming season. Which will a toughest we've ever faced as a club. Stick or twist again.

Kante and Mahrez have been an absolute revelation and for the money we've spent on them to bring us to the highest point we've been as a club (so far). We can expect stupid money to thrown around in the summer. We have two of the best performing players in Europe, if the club have a list of players to improve the squad without breaking what we have, and the means to do so would be to cash in on the fattest spending spree the Premiership has ever known, then I will be very sad to see one or both of them go. But if it's in the club's interest then...so be it.

But let me be clear, I'd obviously like them to stay with us for this epic journey, and with good summer recruitment see even more from them playing for us. It's not inevitable, but unlikely.

I have this horrible feeling we'll be offered big bucks for both of them..and they'll want to go.

Kante to Paris, Riyad to Spain.

Bloody hope not but just think it will happen.

The best hope we have of keeping them is that the big guns may not want to take a financial risk on players who have only done it at the top level for one season. They may want to wait another season before they pounce.

Will be very surprised if Kante and Mahrez are here after next season at the most unfortunately.

I'm not worried at all.

Both have three years left on their deals this summer and both will be on about £35k a week, the club have all the power. I see one of two things happening:

a) They both sign new four deal contracts on about 80k a week as they may as well double their money for the extra year.

b) They get sold but only for a huge fee that the club are happy to accept.

It's win/win.

With the money we have we can afford to keep them here. Clubs in the prem have so much more power than they've ever had before. The players may be worth more to us if we force them into finishing their contracts.
