Kante

I actually think Chelsea would suit him in the long run. He could play in the pivot for them or he could fit well into a 4-3-3. Chelsea sides are usually powerful and aggressive and tactically drilled. I prefer him to go Chelsea over Arsenal for example. He will probably end up at PSG though at some point. Hopefully it's not this summer. That's one of the worries I have if Kante has a fantastic Euros.

I think Leicester suits him in the long run!

The guy is absolute quality :worship: and agree he will probably not go to another English club but maybe a European giant. Hopefully we can keep hold of him for another year at least as pretty sure Mahrez will end up up leaving this summer and would be near impossiable to replace both :nono:

No bookie was offering a price on Kante for PFA Player of the Year.

They offered odds on players down to Aguero at 66/1.

So I figured he must not be in that range and worth a dabble, asked Paddy Power for a price and they've put him in the market fourth favourite at 16/1 behind Mahrez, Vardy and Kane!

No wonder you never meet a poor bookie!

verry quiet guy and what a story, ! from a dustman father and a cleaning lady mother

Very nice.

People were asking if he was religious in one of the other threads recently, this video confirms he's a devout Muslim.  In a nutshell they're discussing what a humble, quiet individual he is, how he kept to himself a lot but remained approachable; not a leader type figure but someone who works hard and tirelessly for the team.  They talk about the doubts surrounding him because of his stature and his rise through the ranks from amateur football all the way to Leicester.  It touches on his childhood origins - his Malian parents, his eight brothers and sisters and says what a nice family they were :D  In short not much we don't already know but his former coach and team mates say a lot of nice things about him.

I remember when he scored against Watford he was almost embarrassed and blushing with all the attention he was getting. He doesn't even have Twitter which 95% of players do these days. He just want to work hard, get the job done and go home without the limelight put on him. Humble, quiet and hardworking.

I love him.

8 brothers and sisters... All those rumours about the kante twins might not be far off :)

Good on him... I hope he establishes himself in the French team.

I don't think even the French quite know what they are in store for. He is going to boss it from game one.

The nice comments that people were saying about him came across as very genuine, not just politeness.

The revelation about his religion is indeed interesting in view of some other debate on here, but best not go on about that. Overall, I'm glad that none of our players seem to ostentatiously display their faith or political beliefs. Albrighton pointing at the sky is about the only thing that I can think of - and that was completely understandable after his mother-in-law (?) had been killed in those terrorist shootings in Tunisia.

The comment from Kante's former team-mate about him humbly asking for permission to pray in the bloke's flat amused me. I wonder if he politely asks opponents for permission before taking the ball off them?  :D

Come to think of it, has he had any yellow cards? He's certainly had very few for Europe's top ball-winning midfielder. I really hope he stays - just 1 more season, N'Golo, enjoy Europe in blue and then see how things stand (though 10 years would do, too).

He doesn't strike me as the type of personality who would chuck his toys out of the pram.  I expect a bigger contract (well deserved) will suffice.

he doesn't seem like the kind of kid who had a pram, just ran about everywhere
