leicsmac Posted 28 October 2016 Posted 28 October 2016 Yes, it's Buzzfeed, but do I see a Brexiters For Trump alliance in the offing? https://www.buzzfeed.com/hannahjewell/hashtag-texit?utm_term=.lfD7KY5la#.nw79azMrY Edit: evidently I was wrong about women and minority turkeys voting for Christmas. This article seems to prove there is at least some.
Guest MattP Posted 28 October 2016 Posted 28 October 2016 Who is actually the Democratic candidate? Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama?

Is certainly unheard of for a sitting First Lady to campaign in this way...but she's definitely not doing the Dem cause any harm. Maybe she should have stood instead.
GazzinderFox Posted 28 October 2016 Posted 28 October 2016 The US elections are symptomatic of the west's return to blind, Greek influenced 'post logos' paganism. We can expect more of this: there is no truth, there is no hope, only fear. 'As far as we are concerned' Logic and reason exist only to manipulate the electorate to vote for us. Black is white. There is no point in elections; the end justifies the means. Cynicism rules. clinton wins, trump wins, nobody wins. In our postmodern world entropy wins every time.

SMX11 Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 I think she's done. You can't have potential criminal charges hanging over you going into the White House. Combined with the Wikileaks dumps on the Clinton Foundation I think her long campaign of enriching herself and her family is over along with her hopes of full term as president.
GaelicFox Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 The Donald is like rocky , he was on the floor and is now back up and swinging hard come on Donald knock that criminal bitch out the clintons are political prostitues , they make no goods , they own no patents they sell no products that are consumable , they have made their $500m from prostituting political leverage i hate them and all they stand for so proud of my daughter this week she was one of handful of kids in her year to vote for trump wow she actually listens if there is a god then Donald will win God Bless America god bless Donald Trump (a man entitled to a British passport by the way)

A mite early to be predicting that, don't you think? 17 minutes ago, GaelicFox said: The Donald is like rocky , he was on the floor and is now back up and swinging hard come on Donald knock that criminal bitch out the clintons are political prostitues , they make no goods , they own no patents they sell no products that are consumable , they have made their $500m from prostituting political leverage i hate them and all they stand for so proud of my daughter this week she was one of handful of kids in her year to vote for trump wow she actually listens if there is a god then Donald will win God Bless America god bless Donald Trump (a man entitled to a British passport by the way) Guess some people really are willing to see the Repubs run through women and minority rights like a buzzsaw in Congress and the Supreme Court just so Trump can "stick it to the establishment". Advocating for that kind of damage in the name if supposedly cleaning things up is easy when the voter won't be on the receiving end of it, I guess. You want someone to go anti Washington, how about Johnson? (Sorry if this comes across a bit strong, it's early, I'm hungover and therefore less inclined to be diplomatic about people wanting to throw a lot of different people from all demographics but one under the bus.)

Vote for Trump? seriously? Whilst Clinton is most definitely a dubious candidate for any post in office, nevermind the position of POTUS. Trump? Can you list the policies you are in support of, and a brief description of how these will be realistically be implemented? I'm yet to hear anything but hot air. Proper pie-in-the-sky stuff, that simply will never pass through as law should the American people manage to get him in power, as even his own party wants nothing to do with him and his ideas. He'd be a lame duck president. Is there some sort of manifesto floating about with this information at hand? I could do with a good laugh this morning.

Policy 1: Have mexicans build a wall to keep their own within mexico Policy 2: deport illegals and bad hombres Policy 3: stop Muslims from entering usa Policy 4: find a way to use tax payer money to throw Clinton behind bars Policy 5: scrap nafta? Policy 6: cut taxes for the rich Policy 7: help all of the no-job-uneducated african american inner city folks get jobs. Policy 8: have steak and beer with putin..maybe even hunt some deer and harass women. Look im sure donald has some good policies but he just aint up to the job. nor is hillary. these emails might just bite her right in the arse now and i wouldn't be surprised if this ended her campaign. Two morons...its too bad we didnt have more noise from the other candidates. Forget god bless america.... God help america.

If the opponent was anyone but Trump she would have stood down ages ago, she's clinging onto getting elected by being the best of two appalling options like a fly clings onto dogshit. I'm starting to hope the Donald wins now as well, it would be great to see a big "**** you" to the establishment/liberal elite across the pond as well, certainly the media who have completely failed in their job to be impartial. Both will be a joke of a president but at least we can change the status quo for good with him elected and things will never be the same again.
Webbo Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Trump is a vile man and his protectionist policies are the opposite of what I believe but I wouldn't mind seeing a big fck you to the establishment/media. The problem is they're so far up their own arses it won't change a thing, they'll never learn any humility.

Yeah I think you might be right. With Lineker, Lilly Allen etc it seems to have got worse over here rather than better. You would think with so many decent people prepared to support Trump just to bash the establishment they would realise just how repulsive they actually are, probably spent so long in a multmillionaire echo chamber of places like Notting Hill and Islington to realise anything going on outside of it.
ithuriel Posted 29 October 2016 Posted 29 October 2016 Still think the parties wanted to lose this election this time round to wait and see what the economic status is like come the next election and put forwards the worst two candidates they could but both are neck and neck and both will likely do very little in their term in office unless they make a monumental foreign policy blunder. Least if Trump gets in Mexican peeps will get work building a wall for four odd years and then more work taking it down again.
