Soar Fox Posted 30 October 2015 Posted 30 October 2015 Barwell midfielder, merc reckons we're tracking him. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-join-hosts-clubs-monitoring/story-28085902-detail/story.html We had him scouted last year when St Andrews had their Fa Vase cup run. Was released by Leicester when he was 14, technically very good but might struggle physically.
ramadaone Posted 30 October 2015 Posted 30 October 2015 Unless he has managed to learn to kick the ball with both feet very recently this is utter bollox
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 30 October 2015 Posted 30 October 2015 His name sounds like a redneck name.
Guest Posted 30 October 2015 Posted 30 October 2015 Doesn't look strong enough. As has been shown in the past though, that can change.
Thracian Posted 30 October 2015 Posted 30 October 2015 I'd be amazed if he gets anywhere with us having been released once already. Kids like him need games and I can't imagine him being used in anything more demanding than he's playing in already.

Granted he had to work hard at a lower level for a long period but we shouldn't just write kids off.

There are so many players out there who are released young and go on to have successful careers at the top level.

As was vardy by Sheffield weds. Guess they got that right as well.

Fuzzwuzzy Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 Take a look at Shaun Barber Creation Builders fc, released from City as a kid, a phenomenal player, 31 goals in 7 at present, loads big local clubs keep chasing him but this guy should be playing professional, played alongside Lee Tomlin as a youth at City and way better player, and he's worth 3.5m apparentley

It's not saying much about the opposition he is up against when his team have won 5-0, 7-1 and 19-1 in the last month.

I didn't suggest there weren't - Andy King being an example - but not often with the club that's already released them.
st albans fox Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Been training with us all week. There's plenty of space at the drive this week

Webbo Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Leicester City are giving a trial to promising Barwell midfielder Brady Hickey. The 18-year-old England schoolboy international has been hailed as non-league's answer to Frank Lampard and has been watched by Middlesbrough, Leeds and Barnsley this season. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3325489/Leicester-trial-non-league-Frank-Lampard-Brady-Hickey-Leeds-Middlesbrough-watching-youngster.html
JerryLundegaard Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 Can we take a look at Jon Barber while we're at it?
Nalis Posted 19 November 2015 Posted 19 November 2015 I've no doubt Shaun Barber would cut it at the top.
