Babylon Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Why are you getting wound up over this? I'm merely saying that i've not seen him do enough to be worth £10m. I had no idea that it was a predetermined contract worth 2m. I said that he's regressed because he scored 23 in 33 last season and 7 in 17 this season. Absolutely no idea where you've got those stats from. Who's getting wound up, I'm trying to explain something to you. The stats come from starts in the league. I excluded cup and sub appearances as they could be against any old shit, or he could have been on the pitch 30 seconds. Harsh to consider that an appearance. His goals scored per 90 minutes in the league are 0.69 this season and 0.78 last season. A change yes, but not something you would worry about considering it's still an excellent return.
hackneyfox Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I'd prefer us to spend this sort of wonga on the defence - a quality right back, in particular! Spend January rebuilding the defence because it's clearly not good enough at the moment. It is possible that we might be looking to spe.nd money on both the defence and another striker. If we want a top half finish the I'd be amazed if we aren't looking to buy a new goalie, new defence and cover/options up front.
Lestoh Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I actually think Kram could thrive at Ajax, they're good at developing young(ish) talent
Guest Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 just because we'll have more money doesn't mean we should overpay for players. 10m in England is worth 10m in Holland is worth 10m in Croatia. Let's not fall into a stupid trap. The extra money means we can outbid teams from foreign leagues but shouldn't mean we pay way over the odds for players

Gerard Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 He has had a slight knock early this season (missed the crucial Poland - Ireland game as a result), and to be fair has some good competition at Ajax. Scored six in a Dutch Cup game for Ajax last year - the only other person to do so? Luis Suarez. What are his attributes and weaknesses as a player? Does he play as No 10 or No 9?
AyewJoking Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 What are his attributes and weaknesses as a player? Does he play as No 10 or No 9? he goes off if you leave him out of the fridge too long....

Górnik Leicester Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 What are his attributes and weaknesses as a player? Does he play as No 10 or No 9? He's still not quite the finished article, but being at Ajax with the likes of Dennis Bergkamp has helped him improve massively. Still very one-footed though (his left), although doesn't seem to have done him any harm. Used to play more as an out-and-out striker in Poland, and thrived; however more recently he has played behind the frontman (in Poland's case Lewandowski), and this partnership has been one of the main reasons for Poland's impressive qualifying campaign. I think it was six goals that Milik scored in the end. Quick, skilful, and still eager to improve. Could potentially be worth more than £10m in the future.
Górnik Leicester Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Scored twice for Ajax a few days ago, when they won 6-0 (think it was against Roda JC), with the second a placed free-kick from distance.

TJB-fox Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 What sort of player is he? Doesn't seem fast enough for our system and we've already got Ulloa so not really sure if he'll fit in with what we've got right now
Wymsey Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Not a bad record where ever he went. But paying that sort of money for a kid hasn't been one of our clubs strengths over the 12/13 years.
shen Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Scored twice for Ajax a few days ago, when they won 6-0 (think it was against Roda JC), with the second a placed free-kick from distance. Roda were absolutely atrocious at the back. The keeper was asleep for the free kick. As I said earlier, it is difficult to judge strikers in the Eredivisie, because quite frequently they have to play against such dross like Roda. He hasn't got vast amounts of pace (which frankly is required within our current setup), but looks to have decent feet.
Lestoh Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 That freekick is ridiculous, it dropped too soon and the keeper should've been all over it

Guest Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 we're better off buying non-league strikers. Could purchase the entire Halifax Town squad for that price. sorted.

Izzy Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Page 2 and no youtube video. This place has changed. I remember everyone getting a hard on for Kramaric based on the YouTube video's posted here. Maybe people have learnt their lesson and are more cautious this time around. Great goals on YouTube or ratings on FM game does not necessarily guarantee success...

Izzy Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Mate, as a middle aged Muppet who doesn't play video games, I've absolutely no idea what this means! Is it good or bad? Looks very colorful and lots of numbers Just makes me laugh when posters say they've played a certain player on FM and they scored loads of goals etc. As if that means it will happen in 'real' life!
