I'm still not sure why he's left the show though, do they do post Bush Tucker trials drug testing? Do steroids offer bug-eating performance enhancement?

It is because he was planning to go cold turkey during the show which is not the best thing to try when you are in middle of a jungle.

About fell off the sofa when she called everyone oiks. Absolute lunatic. Getting very boring very fast, though. They're mostly a lot less annoying than last year but I could do without that Ferne bird. Even she's not as bad as I expected, mind, unless she's doing the trials. I figured I'd hate VP as well but she's actually pretty likeable, regardless of the fact she's slamming. That Brian does my swede the most. Bin immediately. What a bitchy little drama queen. Could do with Eubank filling him in. Boyband is a bit annoying, he needs to retract himself from Hollyoaks arse and grow a pair tbh. Pretty harmless though, as are most of them tbh.
