Fox seen in Norwich Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 You make good decisions when deciding on which football club to support?
EnglishOxide Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Not being funny, but you probably shouldn't put 'football supporter' on your uni application.
Ian W LCFC Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 For mine I wrote something along the lines of: I have a huge interest in football and I am a massive Leicester City fan, I have a season ticket, and I go to all of the home games. My interest in Sports doesn’t just stop at football, talked about a few other sports... I am looking forward to the possibilities of becoming involved in these sports during my time at University...
filbertstreet Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 good luck getting in to the university of nottingham then
tom.g.straw Posted 9 December 2015 Author Posted 9 December 2015 Not being funny, but you probably shouldn't put 'football supporter' on your uni application. don't worry I've got plenty of relevant stuff was just advised to show I had a life outside of work
Frank to be Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Getting at least some of the grammar correct will be a good start.
Izzy Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Writing my personal statement for uni applications, and mentioned "im an eager leicester city football club supporter" in the "hobbies" paragraph what are some good characteristics this gives me that i can mention? if it makes any differance im applying for an art course Ummmm, maybe you could say you have good 'bouncebackability' ?
lgfualol Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Write that you had to endure Konchesky at left-back for a lot of last season. They'll understand, and it would look good.
tom.g.straw Posted 9 December 2015 Author Posted 9 December 2015 Getting at least some of the grammar correct will be a good start. nah, its artistic
Len Finsbury Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 It doesn't really matter what you put in your application for an art degree. It's mickey mouse!
4everfox Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 I love art, I stare at it for 2 hours every other Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
Tuna Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 good luck getting in to the university of nottingham then Wolverhampton.
BrummieFOX Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Unfortunately, in the academic or professional world, football isn't really seen as a desirable, interesting or impressive hobby for whatever reason. Especially on things like application forms, CVs or personal statements. My advice would be go for something else if possible, unless it's relevant to your course or future plans.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 You applying for a (Knock)art course? Are you a Mahrtist? Maybe say some shit about Crystal Palettes, or our brush with relegation last season.
eye666 Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 You bring hard work and a winning mentality. Just like Sir Reg of Vardy you never give up, and come the end of the year, your name will be top of the class rankings.
Xen Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 You applying for a (Knock)art course? Are you a Mahrtist? Maybe say some shit about Crystal Palettes, or our brush with relegation last season. Just make sure that your personal statement paints a good picture of yourself - you wouldn't want to make a bad impression
Wymsey Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Top 30 Uni or don't go and start at bottom somewhere.
