When Mahrez received the ball, Azpilicueta was doubling up on Vardy looking at the picture it must have been Ulloa, which makes even less sense, and leaving Mahrez open.  I can understand him dropping in so Vardy doesn't do Terry for  pace, but on Ulloa?  Maybe they just got confused as to which one was Mahrez and which one was Ulloa...

It was a cross in the box, not hard to understand why they'd double up on Ulloa...

And leave the most dangerous  player on the pitch in space? If Terry can't cope with Ulloa in the air on his own then he really shouldn't be starting. Terry and Zouma are both taller than him.

For the ones who didn't pay that much attention because they were all over Vardy and Mahrez:

Art on grass. :worship:

Was first used at old Trafford seemingly to make sure Evra was in the right position /formation pattern ...

Fans used to sing..

Diamonds are for Evra!...

....

Sorry!

Ulloa proved last season he can score at this level and against the big teams, the fact he has had little game time and is rusty does not take away from that.

It does help that we had three dangerous players hanging around their box at times, even if Ulloa was a pace off everyone else, they could not afford to leave any of them unmarked.

I thought we stepped it up a level physically in a game I was concerned we could be on the receiving end. We're looking like we did in the championship winning season at the minute, we're getting stronger and stronger and playing in a way that demands we win. I still think of that Yeovil game, we were not going to be beat that night and we forced the result in the end.

But he wasn't unmarked, that was why it was weird the way  Azpilicueta decided to come further into the box to doubly up on Ulloa and leave our most dangerous player free in the area, you have to trust Terry and Zouma to deal with Ulloa and Vardy and worry about your own man.
