Guest Col city fan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 This squad has got a kind of togetherness that is tantamount to a club being run so well. It's great to see them playing for each other and so happy.
foxes161 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Vardy foul on Costa. I love how Costa's grabs his foot in pain but then jumps up because he's obviously not. https://streamable.com/8rjl just shows you the type of player he is
Dickov22 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 From the word go last night Costa was trying to wind players up, was in the ref's ear and just generally acting like a bellend. The bloke should just concentrate on paying football rather than trying to show us all what a big hard man he is.
ithuriel Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Not bothered about Costa, come January CR should put a cheeky bid in for Willian :xmaswink:
Raj Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Just seen the goals again...if Messi did what Rihad did media would be w@nking off....his goal was pure skill
filbertway Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I'd say our players and fans definitely targeted Costa last night thought he restrained himself relatively well considering his previous record.
MooseBreath Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Ulloa was clearly kept on for his ability in the air defending set pieces. Imagine if we'd bought him off and we conceded a corner because Okazaki can't defend. Ulloa nearly scored an own goal at one corner
foxes161 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 N'Golo Kante's game by numbers: 100% take-ons 5 tackles won 2 aerial duels won 2 interceptions 2 chances created
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Ulloa nearly scored an own goal at one corner He nearly scored against Manchester United.
LanguedocFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Might I suggest watching an occasional game before spouting such utter guff? Ulloa was ordinary, Shinji did everything right in his cameo. Maybe three keepers in the world would have made Kasper's save in the first half, and Simpson was absolutely rock solid all game. I agree with you in everything else, but Ulloa was a long way from ordinary.
weller54 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 This squad has got a kind of togetherness that is tantamount to a club being run so well. It's great to see them playing for each other and so happy. What a great word.. Tantamount!.. Rarely used... Ever thought about going on countdown?
LanguedocFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 True story this... Been seeing a woman for a few weeks now, met on POF (sorry Tinder lovers). Don't have a season ticket because of work commitments. She asked me to go round this evening to watch the match with her. After 2-0, she said shall we go watch the rest in bed, of course I obliged and watched the rest bonking, was a very happy chappy and made even more so to of found a woman that doesn't mind me watching the football whilst being intimate too. Happy days You really are one of the great romantics...
MANFACE Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Great result. One game finished, next one to concentrate on. Game by game.
ramaiya2 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Wow My smile has not left my face this morning.
VinceNoir Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Is anyone else completely fvcked at work today?! I was buzzing last night and couldn't get to sleep until 3am. What a fvcking team we support!!
Babylon Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Is anyone else completely fvcked at work today?! I was buzzing last night and couldn't get to sleep until 3am. What a fvcking team we support!! Yep
David Hankey Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Superb result and thoroughly deserved. A great shame that Costa had no intention of playing football but chose instead to get a Leicester City player sent off.
Bluethoughandthough Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 So proud of the lads, and the owners deserve a a lot of credit for driving us in this direction. What a time to be a city fan.
Spudulike Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Barnsley fan here calling out from the lower reaches of league 1. I put £20 on you lot to finish in the top 4 after 3 or 4 games this season at 100/1. Not looking too shabby! Absolute breath of fresh air this season. I love Ranieri, always smiling and never whinging like most PL managers. There's a lot to be said for a bloke who always smiles. Vardy and Mahrez just incredible, and not spoilt primadonna mercenaries who think they just deserve the win for turning up. Not glory hunting and I'm a Barnsley fan through and through (I actually run a Tykes forum very similar to this one!), but Leicester this season have restored my faith in football when I almost gave up on it between the inflated ticket prices, Sky Sports prices and overpaid mercenaries. Please, please, please go on and win the league. It would be incredible, and I think every non-PL team fan wants you to win it. Seems to be masses of fans of the so called 'unfashionable' clubs are absolutely behind us. It would be great to do it for them as well.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Costa is a horrible tw@t. Wouldn't have him anywhere near our team.
Ric Flair Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Pleased Inler got some minutes, I can see us needing to use him in the next few weeks so it's crucial that he makes an impact when called upon. Hopefully he's right mentally as these past few months will have been frustrating for him but he needs to buy in to this team spirit and if he does then he'll be sound and he'll improve as he goes along. Looked ok last night, he's certainly composed on the ball and alongside the machine of Kante will aid him.
M0901 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Our full backs were outstanding. Simpson really has come on leaps and bounds considering he was pretty much an outcast this summer Fuchs has been an absolute steal. Calmness personified and just defends brilliantly. Plus, looking at those who said Morgan wasn't PL quality, he's proved every single one of them wrong - simply outstanding.
les-tah Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Vardy foul on Costa. I love how Costa's grabs his foot in pain but then jumps up because he's obviously not. https://streamable.com/8rjl brilliant i watched this 17 times in a row.
ramboacdc Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 with my feet on the ground we just beat chelsea, at current form thats no feat. only one team has beaten us and they looked good doing it. if we beat man city, i will believe.
Richard Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I'd say our players and fans definitely targeted Costa last night thought he restrained himself relatively well considering his previous record.100% from the start. Vardy knew what he was doing there he isn't stupid. Was going to get nowhere near the ball and it riled Costa literally 2 minutes into the second half. Morgan and Huth showed how to deal with him. Leave a few on him and then step back and watch him fight with anyone who'll dare tackle him. He was too bothered about getting into scraps than into the box for the most part
