Leicester City v Chelsea post match thread 2 - 1

Still can't get my head around why not a single Chelsea player got booked yesterday. Not one!

With Costa and Azpilicueta, they had two highly likely receivers available all night.

Obviously Mahrez, Kante and Vardy were class but Morgan was something else at the back. Embarrassed Costa every time the ball came near him.

Don't like to single stars out, but:

Wes Morgan.

Underrated as fvck.

Wasn't he called a donkey by quite a few at the start of the season?

Courtiou, was excellent, showed Kasper how to take ownership of your box

Like when he dropped an easy cross straight at Huth's feet? Come on mate, you're sounding a bit dense here. That's not even taking into account the fact you're comparing him to one of the top 5 keepers' in the world.

Was that the one where Huth and Morgan blocked him off after he gathered it so he couldn't throw it our quickly? I'd absolutely hate Huth if he wasn't on our books, he's such a dick haha.

Personally thought their keeper was poor, flat footed for both our goals.

On another note glad Inler came on, he is used to playing against teams who play like Chelsea and did his job well.

You're definitely playing down how good our goals were if you think he should have done better with either of them.

With the second goal he should have done better with the through ball about 30 seconds before our goal. He had all the time in the world and could have let the ball come to him in the area for him to collect. Instead he rushed out and headed it, we win the ball back and well, you know the rest!

Yeah, that was uncharacteriscally panicky of him, happened a few times where he didn't feel confident that his defenders would beat Vardy to the ball (even though he was about 5-10 yards behind) and came and made it his.

I can always sympathise with keepers in those situations as it's a split second decision and when you're the last line of defence it's magnified tenfold.

Jack Butland is the top keeper in the prem for me. Then you've got a straight tie between Lloris, De Gea, Courtois and Hart.

Yeah, we were at our most twattish as a team last night, lovely Vardy and Morgan's constant booting of Costa.

Inler's short cameo gave me hope that he can still be a success here.

Did nothing wrong did he and won a fair few loose balls. Hopefully it's just a case of him getting up to speed with us. He undoubtedly has the ability, he just needs to increase his playing tempo to fit in with us.

Depending how long Drinkwater is out for we could possibly change it up and put king and inler in with Kante and just play Vardy Mahrez and Albrighton a bit further forward, Albrighton did struggle to get back in the last 10 minutes or so which was understandable how much running he did but the 3 CM's would help us against the better teams like Liverpool and Everton.

What a great word.. Tantamount!.. Rarely used... Ever thought about going on countdown?

Couldn't get through this thread without thinking of Rachel Riley :teehee:

also one thing i forgot to mention was the balls in for the goals. two sensational crosses. albrighton's was out of this world, I was watching from the stand and didn't think it was on and he landed it on riyads foot like nothing had happened.

albrighton does that several times a game - which just makes the dozen or so crosses out of play that much more frustrating.

It's definitely easy to spot his shortcomings when he's thought of as a crosser of the ball, but I though he was excellent last night. Once again, he's the go to outlet when we break, he's up and he's back whenever he's needed, he plays safe but incisive balls forward. Difficult to pick out our players with a cross, but when he did (Mahrez) it was vital

True story this...

Been seeing a woman for a few weeks now, met on POF (sorry Tinder lovers). Don't have a season ticket because of work commitments.

She asked me to go round this evening to watch the match with her. After 2-0, she said shall we go watch the rest in bed, of course I obliged and watched the rest bonking, was a very happy chappy and made even more so to of found a woman that doesn't mind me watching the football whilst being intimate too.

Happy days :)

That's it I've reached the end of my tether, I'm sick to death of my wife getting revenge sex whilst I'm at the match!

And to rub salt in the wound you go on a public forum and brag about it!

Don't get annoyed, she's not very good.

Diego Costa is turd. Once you look past the fear factor he's actually very ordinary. He's been pathetic all season, more bothered about getting into fights than playing football. Fraud.

im almost sure jose has said something to clattemburg at half time. clattenburg literally laughed off every single chelsea appeal first half, yet the same sort of "scuffles" second half were all given as chelsea free kicks? something dodgy there surely.
