That record of one of ourselves or Forest getting relegated every time we have been in the Premier League the same season will remain intact.

Not a crazy stat at all when you think about what’s going on at our club at the moment, but just let this sink in (it’s quite a stat)…

In 136 years of football league history since 1888 (12 teams for 4 years, 28 teams for 23 years, 66 teams for 24 years, and 92 teams for 74 years - not including this season which is all but finished, [when it is it’ll add another 92 teams to the equation] - and after adjusting for WW1 and WW2) 9084 teams have played in the EFL/EPL.  Until now, none have lost 8 consecutive home games without scoring. 😡😡😡

Leicester City have won just two of their past 13 Premier League games against Liverpool (D1 L10), with those coming consecutively at home in 2021 (3-1 in February and 1-0 in December).

The Foxes are looking to avoid becoming the first side in top-flight history to go nine consecutive home games without scoring a goal. In Football League history, only Mansfield Town in the third tier between August and December 1971 (9) and Wolves in the second tier between December 1984 and April 1985 (10) have achieved this unwanted feat.

Mohamed Salah has scored in all five of Liverpool's Premier League games against newly promoted sides this season (seven goals). No player in the competition's history has scored in six separate matches against promoted clubs in one campaign.

Is this the longest we've gone without scoring a home goal?

It's the longest ANY top division club has ever gone without scoring a home goal.

29 - Leicester have conceded first in 29 of their 34 Premier League games this season - the most ever by a side in a single 38-game campaign in the competition. Uphill.

It screams that there something wrong with football in general.

When Bobby De Cordova-Reid earned Leicester a last-gasp draw against Brighton in early December, Ruud van Nistelrooy hailed his team for a “great show of character.” Little did he know that the Foxes, who were five points clear of relegation, would embark on the longest run without a home goal in Premier League history.

De Cordova-Reid’s goal arrived when Joe Biden was still American president. And not only did it come before Rusk’s first spell as Saints’ interim boss, West Brom have gone through four head coaches since.

Add the relegation to the third tier and I've now seen ten relegations in 59 years of watching this club, so one very six seasons! No wonder it doesn't hurt any more (though the 2022-23 one did and still does)!
