Renart Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 You know what to do. Vote and put your reasons below. Here are the results of the last two polls:
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 The way we're playing we are not going to get top 4, can't even create a good chance. Please revert back to LCFC circa September - December 2015.
daddylonglegs Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Depends. If Ranieri really goes for it and plays in a completely opposite way to the way we played tonight - Champions League If we set up like tonight from now on - 7-10th.
Monsell1976 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Just think this is new territory for the players, and the pressure/ inexperience may cost us, so gone for 5/6 th
weller54 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 6th /7th.. No way top 4 on this form /style of play!
crisp packet Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Gone 5/6 Buy a forward to start I'll say top 4?
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 I think we'll be in the Europa League unfortunately. Never felt we've been odds on for the top four this season. EDIT: Fvck me that first sentence sounds ridiculous now that I read what I've written. "Unfortunately". Ha!
Stevosevic Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 If this the style we are going to adopt till the end of the season I can see Spurs, Manchester and Stoke bypassing us. 7th-10th
Aus Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 We only have 16 games to play. Man City have a minimum of 20 Arsenal 19 Spurs 19 Man Utd 19 West Ham 17 Stoke 18 That's minimum, With the top 4 in that all having tricky away games to face in Europe. This hopefully will equal out the squads a bit. I am going for us to get 4th ahead of United. Arsenal Manx City Spurs Leicester City Man utd
STUHILL Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Top 4 as long as we sign a striker and Mahrez rediscovers some form, which I think he will. We may even drop out of the top 4 but that could be what the players need to give them a booting and get back to playing with the same ruthless intensity that we started the season with. I think Man City and Arsenal will begin to pull away but other than Spurs, the other teams all seem to be susceptible to losing against anyone and having patchy form. Hope we can finish 3rd but I think Spurs are stronger than us and that will eventually show. 4th place finish with few points gap to Man U...
stevelcfc Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 7th cause at the moment were bloody awful, need my Leicester back and soon.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 We haven't really played "well" since Everton away in my opinion and we've had a few lucky results since then to keep us where we are. If this is our dip then fine, if this is the way its going to be though from here until the end of the season, I cant see us finishing top 4. Having said that though, there is no way on earth we should even consider tonight as a guidance for what happens in league football. No one was up for it and I don't really blame them. If we didn't want to take this competition serious (which we didn't else we wouldn't have thrown the reserves out) then why did we just not roll over in the game at Spurs last week, it doesn't make sense to me. All tonight shows really is that outside of the first 11, we literally have nothing in terms of quality, there is still a couple of weeks to address this however. For what its worth, I voted 5th or 6th.
Aus Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 16 games to go... Win them all and we are champions. Just think about that for a minute... Champions
weller54 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 16 games to go... Win them all and we are champions. Just think about that for a minute... Champions 16 wins!! I can't see where the next ONE is coming from let alone 16!

For what its worth, I voted 5th or 6th. We put out almost the same team in both games, so not sure what doesn't make sense. I think the two cup games prove we have strength at the back, if anything happens to Fuchs, Morgan or Huth we have replacements. The midfield looks like we have a bit of strength especially with the new lad and James and Schluup back for. The areas I worry about if we have an injury is Goalkeeper, right back and Vardy. Everywhere else I think the cover is great.
The Doctor Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 4th. We've been playing as if we don't want to do anything but lose since Christmas, but the likes of man utd are so unreedemably dull, that I can't see them catching us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 My concern is Man Utd. Their ability to play like a bag of shite under Van Gaal yet nick a one nil win is worrying. And we have to play them away. But I'm still going to go for fourth.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Now we're out the cup with less games to play than our top 4 opponents you would have to see us in the top 4. Unless we keep defending deep and playing hoof ball
weller54 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 4th. We've been playing as if we don't want to do anything but lose since Christmas, but the likes of man utd are so unreedemably dull, that I can't see them catching us. Bet they do!!
adam Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Not played well for weeks. If we are serious about getting into the top 4 we probably need at least 3 new players. Striker, cm and a winger.
thybluefox Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 Keep playing the way we have done recently and we'll do well to see 7th.
FireFox Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 We are 2nd, behind Arsenal on goal difference. If Mahrez did not miss, we could easily be 4 points ahead. Gray looks promising and will be a better impact sub than Dyer. Amartey could very well provide some more energy into the team and maybe even give us a couple goals from (central) midfield. We will win the league.
fuchsntf Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 No matter whst happened in the cups, there is no comparisons of like. I believe until the when becomes, impossible. Champions....THEN I will laugh alone, because you other infidels, havent earnt to ride beside our great King Dick. Old Richard didnt like drinking from goblets, he use to spill it when he dropped his shoulder, to throw a dummy.
Renart Posted 21 January 2016 Author Posted 21 January 2016 Wow, the percentages show that confidence really is starting to ebb away! Considering we are not really in a worse position than we were for the other two polls and we have less games to go in which to be caught, is this a little surprising? Interesting. Is this a blip or is it a slide? Time will tell I suppose. Did the beginning of the season give us too high expectations? The last 5 games might well be the form that we should have expected for the entire season, and maybe we are playing at the level that we 'should' be? Take a look at our form for the majority of last season - we would have killed for the kind of results we have achieved in the last five games during that losing streak.
lgfualol Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 5/6th. But I was never sure if top 4 was ever a possibility with our squad, other teams are just stronger and you have to remember this is our second season back in this league. Europa league would be good enough for me considering I thought a top 10 finish would be amazing.
