foxfanazer Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I wasn't expecting a robust counter-argument like that mate fair play I've been done there. There's no arguing with stupid In all seriousness there shouldn't be negativity if we lose but have a go. Praying for 4-4-2
Nick Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I'll pass on the rest of what you said, but really? No of course not really. I just can't contribute seriously to a thread that is about how fans on a football forum my possibly express their emotions should they not win. We may as well have a thread for 'if we do win, can we not go on about it' (and look like arrogant fans we have come to despise from the historic top four clubs....) There's no arguing with stupid In all seriousness there shouldn't be negativity if we lose but have a go. Praying for 4-4-2 Yep me too. Wonder if Amartey will feature?

Wonder if Amartey will feature? Yes that makes sense. I just think perhaps we can distinguish between 'expressing emotions' and 'making everyones' lives a misery with spoilt brattery for 24/48/more hours'

lgfualol Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 No chance of that happening There will be cries about Pearson if we lose.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 Do you think this thread will make any difference? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
EnglishOxide Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I'm not disagreeing with the fairness of the point itself, it's the sanctimony and arrogance of someone who makes a thread just to tell people that. Who thinks they are so uniquely enlightened that this is their responsibility? Agreed. There is not a football fan in the land who should be happy at losing a football match. So why act so 'above it all'? We lost with dignity to Liverpool and Arsenal already and nobody lost their shit. Let us have a couple of hours to get our grievances out in the open and out of our system ffs. Or should we just congratulate ourselves and not discuss anything if we get tonked 5-0 like some weird sort of cult?
Captain... Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 We lost to Arsenal at the KP and his place was buzzing because of how we played. It was the best 5-2 defeat I'd ever seen. I wonder if it happened now whether it would get the same response. This is the danger of expectation, if we don't want the players to feel the pressure then we shouldn't be putting any pressure on them which means excepting the set backs and enjoying the ride despite the bumps. If they give everything in the next 13 games and we fall short I'll still be happy.
ScouseFox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 if we win we've won the league. if we don't win we're two points clear with a very favourable run in. what a position to be in.
fuchsntf Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 Both Mahez, and the owner came out with a top Quote... Its a 'dream not an obligation'..it shows how the players and management have set themselves up. And again you see against the big team this train of though.... Arsenal/Man.city have to win the title, its an obligation. If we win the title, its a bonus, ...etc If we would of gone down last year we couldn t, of done this....So no pressure. ....Beautiful escapism..
Izzy Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 If anything, I'm even more positive after today. I always said I'd only start to believe we could win the league after the Arsenal game, and I truly believe we can win it now. Carrager said on Sky that Leicester played like champions today and I agree. We've got a decent run in and less games than the others so I've very positive about our chances. Even in defeat I thought we were brilliant today and never gave up. I'm on Foxhaterams optimistic bus all the way to Stamford bridge now....
Vestan Pance Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 The way we lost was awful but I'd rather that than be played off the park. Ranieri might use what he feels is injustice to fire them up once more. Arsenals crowd helped them influence the ref today, we need everything from our home crowd to pull us through these games. Let's go.
