promised land Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Why do we pay a tv licence? You mean the BBC tax? Do they share it with all the independent tv channels or keep it all for themselves and fund their left wing views, oh I forgot it's an impartial corporation. That's why all the multi cultural stuff was said, also a nice photoshop of Jamie Vardy's shirt behind Evan Davis, we can't advertise King Power or we will have to say "other duty free shops are available".
Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 I hear from a good scource it took 10-12 walk througho to get it right I can only hope that's true.

Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Literally the only football fan in that whole video was Walshie.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 That woman with the kids  'I'm a massive Leicester fan you know, honest! I go to games and everything. There are loads of Asian people at the matches. LOADS.'
promised land Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 it galls me to think we paid for savile to abuse at will and now we a still paying today.. Do you think he was the only one doing it there? It's an awful corporation, you've only got to follow some of their news pages, they let people post comments on a few specially chosen topics, but if the comments start going against their (BBC) views they either delete said comments due to house rules, stop people posting entirely or the worst and this happens a lot, delete all comments on that topic. My mate posts on them a lot and gets in the top 10 of highest comments quite a bit, he does it for a giggle, had the number 1 slot on one the other day, but they wiped all comments as they were going the wrong way for the Beeb. Something about the EU I think. Usually it's when they have a dig at the Tories, or praise Labour and the publics views go against theirs. We shouldn't be paying them £145 a year, back in 1950 when they were the only station it worked, times have changed.
Countryfox Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 I love the BBC Â Tony Hall ! ... Â Welcome.
Izzy Posted 24 February 2016 Posted 24 February 2016 Just glad it was on late at night  Exactly. Chillax eveyone. It was probably only seen by one man and his dog anyway - and they're probably not football fans. There's been so many positive stories about us recently that we really shouldn't let a one off piece aimed at a different audience annoy us.Â
The Railway Man Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 What the fvck are they trying to achieve with that bollocks? Â "Does everybody get involved or is it just the white folk?" What sort of question is that. Â That question was so weird and out of order it was horrific. Â People can moan about a lack of diversity but tickets are a problem now and people aren't going to give them up, with what's happening we aren't going to see any serious mass diveristy in the ground unless they forcibly take season tickets off white supporters (which I wouldn't actually out past society in 2016 actually) to sell to other ethnic groups.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Â You can slag off the beeb all you like, but it is still a damn sight better than most broadcasting brands in this world. And if you think its a truly left-wing organisation then you might just have been pre-conditioned by all the right-wing crap (including plenty on the BBC, Andrew Neil, Nick Robinson etc), that dominates our media. Â Newsnight is certainly treading water though, if that is the best they can do, more post-Savile angst I guess. Nobody wants to see such poorly crafted work.

digitalalba Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 If only the piece was truthful and that half the fans weren't white, then we'd need a 50,000 seater stadium. Come on asians and others, sign up to the city, lets hear you shout for your city. What is the club doing to get them into the ground?

Darkon84 Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Steve just ignored the comment  And rightly so, what a completely ridiculous thing to say.
LanguedocFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 I think the Richard III thing is brilliant. I just showed my wife (not interested in football) the facts:  March 21 last year: we lost 4-3 to Spurs and were firmly anchored to the bottom of the PL March 26 last year: Richard III reburied in Leicester Cathedral April 4: last year: we beat West Ham 2-1 and the greatest escape begins  Since then, we've lost just four PL matches and we sit top of the League.  My wife things it's fvckin' spooky!

digitalalba Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 winning games Er, hello, we're doing that in abundance
bovril Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Thought it was a bit cringy but pretty harmless.

Who knows in a few years if we keep winning then the "asian market" might open up for us
