Sly Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I say we make our stadium unique and have a statue every five meters of players past and present. It's look like some sort of Roman / Greek amphitheater then.
cambridgefox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Too early. Matches to play. (PS Huth elbowing the sports statue. Give him three arms, allowing him to elbow all three, or possibly just have the two and have him using his knee on the cricketer.) (OR 400 statues of Kante, meaning he could be almost literally everywhere) its probably been put on here already but I saw something the other day doing the rounds." over two-thirds of the earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by Kante"
FoxFossil Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 King RIII in LCFC kit - it was him wot done it after all.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I think if we do go on to win the BPL title, then having a statue of all of the squad lifting the trophy would be one of the best ways to remember this season and it also means every player is included as it's been a team effort this season. There is so much togetherness between the players and staff so I reckon this would be the best statue to have.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 GORDON BANKS or ARTHUR ROWLEY. Possibly Claudio, if we do win the Premiership.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Should clearly have the one constant that's served us well through everything from League One upwards: lcfcsnow looking at our teamsheet and predicting a 3-0 defeat.
Jace Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Anyone who scores the winning goal if we win the Premier League will be the worthy winner
possiblygeorge Posted 17 March 2016 Author Posted 17 March 2016 Anyone who scores the winning goal if we win the Premier League will be the worthy winner I agree with this, spot on
Captain... Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 If we win the league All the main players would deserve one, two at each gate forming a mini guard of honour for the fans as they go in. Or all lined up down Raw Dykes road.
Jace Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I hope the Owners have some big plans in the pipeline they should have
possiblygeorge Posted 17 March 2016 Author Posted 17 March 2016 Arsenal were called "the invincibles" in 03/04. What we do call our boys? "The impossibles"?

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Incorporating every player into the statue would be excellent in my opinion. On a side idea perhaps where the blue pillars/banners are that run all around the stadium, could be a few images on each side of each stand of the players lifting the trophy, having said that the outside of the ground looks nice as it is to be fair, with the blue and lettering of 'LCFC.'
Len Finsbury Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I can tell you one thing. I'm sure whoever officially unveils it will have a blue plaque declaring it!
fuchsntf Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 No statues. 2 large Plauques. On the curverture of the stadium. 1. owners and Ranieri 2. The squad of 1st team players, who played in the 1st team in the PL. Showing, head and shoulders of most, then full poses of Mahrez in dribbling and Vardy in shooting mode. There was a thread suggesting gift for the owners.I would suggest 3-6 large banners unfolded as they take their seats, for the last home game... shown on 3 sides of the ground .The banner(s) opposite. Saying ..Thank-you with league postion and year for the season in Thai and English. On the other goalends. Words of Congratulations to team, Staff and management, one with Ranieris name, and thanks in Italian. If some fans want to collect to give a gift. Then a simple straight gift accepted and received gratefully from buddhists, would be a silk scarf, a blue one for their female partners. For the famous 2 , two engraved pendants stating thanks from the fans, for season 2015/2016. Again to be presented at last home game, at pitch presentation ceremony, before kick-off. Just ideas....

I think it's good to suggest a range of ideas. We all probably want to do something to remember this season I.e statue, or thanks to owners/players/staff etc, and of course there's plenty of ways to do this.
Tuna Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Got to be this guy, instrumental in turning our season around.
