Matt Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Well deserved! Let's hope the French manager takes chances/uses friendlies to experiment with new players that he calls up to see what they've got and use them in the right way unlike our chump Woy.
iamafox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 France are surely favourites to win the Euros now. Not just because they are the hosts, they also have sheer talent in their squad.
NewEnglandFox Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 According to John Bennett, the an Italian journo asked Descamps if Juve should sign Kanté.
bluebeau Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Well done, he thoroughly deserves this chance to shine on the international scene, problem is it probably means we have less chance of retaining his services!
Len Finsbury Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 You're all excited now but if he comes back injured from International duty...
(.) (.) Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Lloris Sagna Varane Laporte Kurwaza Matuidi Kondogbia Griezman Pogba Martial Benzema Mandanda Debuchy Koscielny Sakho Evra Coquelin Kante Lacazette Cabaye Ben Arfa Giroud That's two teams and that's not including Clichy, Zouma, Rami, Umtiti, Gonalons, Schneiderlin, Fekir, Coman,Ntep, Gameiro or Remy who could easily play for them without a drop in quality. It also doesn't include Nasri or Ribery who won't be considered. My tip to win the Euros.
shailen Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 There is too much quality in the France team, but I would play him and have more attacking players like Martial, Griezmann, Pogba, Benzema....etc more freedom. He'd win the ball almost every time and distribute it too one of these players who have the quality to make it count.
foxes21 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Matuidi, Kante & Pogba in the middle... That's not fair.
dylanlegend Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Already have money on France. Surprised they aren't favs, Germany aren't as good as they were
Bryn Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Deschamps on Kante. "Kante is a complete midfielder. He's been stringing together top-level performances with Leicester." "He is a great ball winner and passer with a great sense of positioning." That's such high praise.
AKCJ Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Matuidi, Kante & Pogba in the middle... That's not fair. Payet and Griezmann on the wings with Lacazette up top. Koscielny and Laporte (assuming the call him up for the Euros) in defence, Lloris in goal... They are the team to beat by a long way, without even taking home advantage into account.
ST20 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 I still think Germany are stronger. Home advantage may help France though.
Len Finsbury Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 What was already a formidable squad has just got formidabler
los dedos Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Deschamps on Kante. That's such high praise. Why can't Woy be that positive when calling up a City player.Always seems to have a little dig
Carl the Llama Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Why can't Woy be that positive when calling up a City player.Always seems to have a little dig Because when Woy does it he doesn't really want to and is just trying to get the media off his back but still won't admit his golden boys aren't the ones to get the job done.
