I am a crap better. I loose a lot more than I win. So in view of this I am having £100 on a Spurs win tonight. If Spurs don't win i'd quite ​happily loose the money. If they win, then at least i'll be £78 better off and can at least afford the new plaster board and paint I require for the hole in the wall thanks to yesterdays game :-)

Can see the logic of backing them tonight but not outright. They can win tonight but not win the title (in which case you collect). They don't win and their title odds will lengthen significantly.

 

Alternatively, just don't bet, and BELIEVE!!!

I've had £85 on Spurs to win the league at 7/2 from winnings from a free bet. I am abysmal at football betting so I'm relaxed that this has just won us the league.

I was having serious palpitations, not sleeping and I couldn't bear the thought of throwing it all away (I'm not exaggerating)

 

So last week I bet £50 on Spurs at 5/1. I got a free £50 bet as a result and also put that on.

 

I get £600 if we somehow throw it away.

 

It will be scant consolation but it'll pay for my holiday which I'll need!

 

I can see this could offend some people but I feel I needed to do it for my own health,

I did exactly the same. Didn't like doing it and want to lose that money but see it as a cushioning blow.

Did the same on us to get relegated last year and that worked out ok.

Interestingly Paddy Power cash out today (on a £50 bet at 7/2) only pays out £54 - seems as though they have more faith in Leicester than a few fans
