foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Easy game for him yeh, but what was so difficult about the West Ham game? Moss made a normal match into a controversial one. Games become hard to referee if you're a terrible ref who keeps making horrendous decisions. Exactly this, if the players lose trust and respect in you then you completely lose control of the game.
Lionheart10 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 It is poor really the massive difference in quality between Clattenberg and last weeks Clown.I can't believe that fat little chump even manages to pass the fitness test!
Izzy Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Mark was fantastic today, I thought he was very good, good ref!!. He made every call right and he was trying to let the game flow always. You see the fact you call him 'Mark' is yet another reason for me to believe that you are actually the real Wes Mogan
Captain... Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 he let the game flow, but he made mistakes, thought Shinji was on the end of some rough treatment that wasn't punished. He didn't have any tough calls to make, but I did like the way he was calm and constantly talking to the players.
Donut Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 For this thread to have any credibility at all, which it doesnt, I bet not one person here can identify a good refereeing performance this season from a game we didnt win. Prove me wrong. Tell me a game you thought the referee was excellent in a game we didnt win.
Dan Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Thought he had a very good game on the whole. Didn't get absolutely everything right but you never will. Moss should sit back and watch his performance today and learn a thing or two. Its just very easy to say the referee was brilliant in a 4-0 win with no incidents whatsoever. Playing devils advocate, you could say Clattenburg made a mistake for the first goal which COULD have been a handball. I dont think it was for the record, but having got back from the game, Redknapp seems to think it was. All opinion.
bluebeau Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 I am surprised that it wasn't leaked that Mr Clattenburg is a secret LCFC supporter. His children attend Loughborough Grammar School, his Dad works at Walkers Crisps & his favourite cheeses are Leicester Red & Blue Stilton & his missus is the tea lady at Next head office. Oh & he is a distant relative of Richard The Turd. Tottenham Hotspurs, there's no catching us!!!
Guest foxestalkisfullofidiots Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 I've always liked Clattenburg, he tries to let the game flow and very consistent. Also how much fitter is he than Moss, always up with play and his positioning is spot on.
stevelcfc Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Most impressive part to Clattenburg today was that he clearly explained all his decisions in a way the crowd could understand, whereas moss just ran away. Furthermore, it was clear he had supreme confidence in what he believed he was so there was no hesitancy which led to moss' inconsistent farce
Arkie Bennett Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 There was one moment when Schmeichel was on the receiving end of a ball played backwards from close to the halfway line past several players. After he cleared it, I'm sure Clattenburg was telling him he could have picked it up.
Fox 4 Life Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Wish we could have him every week. You could see him explain every decision with clear body language. Was fair and commanded respect from all players. It's a joke that moss is considered a peer of his.

Spent five minutes trying to get his point across to schmeichel saying listen to my calls you could have picked it up... It was in that moment he became my favourite ref
