Leicester City - Premier League Champions 15/16

Never really that about my reactions but with previous promotions and league cups I had been euphoric. But this is weird. When Hazard scored I erupted (and quite aggressively) like I was avenging some wrong. Then just broke down in tears.

Didn't really get much sleep; got a standing ovation going into the office then just sat quietly at my computer all day flicking from one site to another just taking in the media storm.

Still doing it now. I'm numb. It's like part of me is still waiting for the Leicester City bad news; FFP or scandal or something that could take this away from me.

I now this has happened but I can't seem to react in any way that I thought I would.

I need go into town on Saturday and release.

Please join me.

Can we pin this thread please. It needs to be up permanently there for me to properly believe it.

So many tears have been shed already.

Quite a good show from EMT apart from the woman kept saying "we're running out of expletives to describe this" :D I think she meant superlatives.

She knew what she meant!

Couldn't get my head around it last night. Made the mistake of going to bed without having a few drinks. Don't think I dropped off till around 3am. Feel like I'm jet lagged!

Want Saturday to last for ever! It will fly past - I just know it

What a 25 hours this has been. Never expected how good it could feel when it became reality, and to see the pure joy spread around is awesome. It is the best thing that has ever happened in the history of the world. Everyone who made it possible can never be thanked enough.

In a way wanted to win it while we were playing but it was an incredibly special night as it was and it's nice to have the 5 or so months of nerves and tension disappear. The players magnificently kept the pressure at bay. I'd like to know how they did it because I was a wreck just watching since halfway through season (even though had confidence in them) knowing what a chance of glory we had.

I really thought that nothing could surpass the football feelings from the O'Neill days, but this has been an extraordinary season. Thankyou everybody at LCFC.

I purchased every different newspaper today, I will no doubt do the same tomorrow as there will be more articles and special editions.

Just have to ensure no one puts them in the recycling bin!

Aberdeen fan here. I registered here when I moved down to Leicester in 05. Didn't last long for me for various different reasons. Would never call myself a Leicester supporter by any means despite taking in a lot of games when I was down there (and went to Newcastle away last year for my first game in about 8 years!), but have always had a big soft spot for City since then. Delighted for everyone!

What amazed me up here was not the football fans who loved your story. It was the people who didn't care one bit for football but really, really cared about Leicester winning the league. I was working in a pub in Edinburgh last night, and the place absolutely exploded at full time!

Congratulations to all of you. I know how much you'll enjoy it, and I know how much you'll be looking forward to going after that big shiny European trophy and defending the title next season. ;)

All the best. I'll be watching!

So did I. Spent £6 something in one shop on papers. I'm sure that The Guardian was at least £2! Wtf?

Aberdeen are one of the few clubs I would compare to us (ignoring F***est). Fergie should have stayed. I do think we have done it for all that is outside of capital. I've known it all along - but money doesn't make the world go round.

It was £2, I thought that was madness when I picked it up!

I recall hours after we defeated QPR in the last match of the 2014/2015 season I saw a Fox for the first and only time in my life.

Must have been an omen!

I f**king love you all! Those that have made me laugh, those that have angered me. Not everyone always sees eye to eye. We disagree more than we agree. We have laughs, post stupid pictures.

But right now, old or new, we all support the best team in England, the premier league champions! What a night, what a feeling. Just cannot control my emotions!!

This

Love you all

Wow.

I don't know what to say, doesn't feel real, I didn't get to the stadium last night as I was drinking at home so couldn't drive there, abit gutted really, sounded amazing, I popped over after work this afternoon and got abit emotional, I've only welled up so far and I keep doing that, i've not proper broke down - but it feels like I need to do that.

Don't think it'll properly sink in till Saturday.

Amazing.

I'm thinking Saturday is when it will really sink in for a lot of people Matt aswell

Bloody can't wait

I bought Gazzetta dello sport. I don't speak Italian.

Am I the only one who just feels totally numb?

Similar. Particularly being away from Leicester. I'm fairly certain though that there's going to be a point this week where I sit down and place the achievement in the context of support City for my life, the tears will just come.

Being in the office yesterday having people shake my hand and congratulate me was surreal. Then to have people I worked with from years ago texting me and wishing me the same.

You kinda of give up on being Champions of England when you are about nine or ten. At the point you realise you support a club who can't trouble the big boys. Got me thinking of the playground now and the glory hunters

Where from? I missed out on a few papers yesterday, anyone know if you can buy old papers online or anything like that?

I bought it from a post office in London.

No idea where you'd get a back copy from, sorry.

I'm on holiday in Spain, I wish I was in Leicester on Monday night. I was the only City fan in the Irish Pub, mostly Spurs and Chelsea fans. After the match loads of people come over to me to congratulate us. A Spurs fan actually bought me a double cognac and we chatted for ages, he was very happy that we had deservingly won the title. Not all Spurs fans are tossers.I got smashed that night. Yesterday I wore my city shirt in my Spanish village and the locals were shouting Lycester championes!!!I have never felt so proud to be a Leicester fan.I fly back tonight to get to the Everton match with my daughter, can't wait. it's her birthday. Can't think of a better present!!
