MrSpaM Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Still don't think this is going to sink in properly until I see Wes lifting the trophie with my own eyes on Saturday. Please tell me this isn't a dream It's not is it? We've won the bloody league!
Parafox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I'm going to Rome this weekend. I wonder if I can find Claudio's mum's address? Also wanted to wear a Leicester shirt on Saturday but I can't get one in time (sold out, unless someone knows where?). I might just paint my face blue.
benfica_guy Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Congratulations from Portugal & Benfica You guys did it ! Been following all the game since mid season, what you guys done was remarkable and inspirational. Go Foxes !
Haydos Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 About 2 minutes in, after a short lull in the screaming, you start to see them realising what this means. Fuchs and Simpson with good long hug, King and Shinji? sharing a moment, Vardy obviously hiding tears from the camera with Drinky and James. Emotional stuff! You can tell it hits Vardy, Drinky and James. It's a lovely moment, 3 Championship lads who scrapped for us a few years ago come together for the first time to share that feeling. That's the moment that got me.
lifted*fox Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I feel like I should have something poignant or meaningful to add to this thread but I simply can't find the words. Just a surreal, beautiful moment in life. It won't fully sink in until I'm in my seat in SK4 next week and watch that trophy go up in the air. I'm going to take a spare pair of boxers because it's quite possible I'll do a jizz.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 The feelings of winning league 1 and championship were amazing and this is similar obviously on a bigger scale. The past 3 seasons I haven't been able to get to as many games as the 2008/2009 one unfortunatly especially with working weekends. But so happy for everyone at the club and all our fans old and new. My first proper season was when we got relegated to league 1 and I was gutted but from then on we have risen from the ashes, been on a rollercoaster ride thats got to the highest point in english football. That wes video is amazing. Can't wait till saturday.
James. Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 The world feels a very different place today. Tangibly different. Amazing.
VinceNoir Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Yes, I did!! Did they ask you about the odds? Or was it you that spoke about Market square and the Leicester Tigers? Yep, the latter ;-) I had no idea what to say to that question. I know embarrassingly little about the city apart from it being the home of the Premier League champions!!
HEGGSY Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 This will never ever be able to be comprehended by me. Ever. Absolutely unbelievable
Mythyaar Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 This will take a lifetime to sink in! Has also short/ medium and maybe even long term altered the landscape of premier league competition (for the better!)

RonnieTodger Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 It's just ****ing nuts. I drove to the ground on my lunch break to just soak it up and came back. I don't really know what to do, but I really can't be arsed to work. This is amazing.
Captain... Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/leicester-city/10267950/ranieri-leicester-title-a-one-off Of course he will say that, and next season he will say we are aiming for 40 points, and he will mean it, but we will go into every game knowing we can win every game.
Darkon84 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Some super marketing by my friends business, changing the name of their hairdressers in Lutterworth for a week from Chambers & Neal to Vardy & Mahrez https://www.facebook.com/chambersandneal/
RobHawk Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Of course he will say that, and next season he will say we are aiming for 40 points, and he will mean it, but we will go into every game knowing we can win every game. Master of psychology!
lfcinterloper Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Hi folks, Liverpool fan here dropping by from Facebook to offer hearty congratulations to Leicester City on winning the Premier League. One day we may even do it ! Enjoy it guys, enjoy everything that goes with it especially your CL football next season. You've been brilliant to watch all season a total revelation. See you next season when we reset and try again.
Fox42 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 It feels like a little slice of heaven has just dropped down on this city momentarily. How are we going to top this?
RFC1872 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Congratulations, a magnificent achievement. You've given football back its soul. Enjoy it for all it's worth!
possiblygeorge Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 I think i'm going to cry for not putting a bet on.
Shelf Side Spurs Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Just a quick one from our side of the fence...for those that might still be thinking that all Spurs fans are arrogant low life. There is a thread on one of our better forums congratulating Leicester and everything that you have stood for this season. 45 posters have joined the deserved congratulations so far. I hope and expect you will receive the 'guard of honour' at Chelsea on the final game this season, after the party this coming weekend. Go again next season in the league and equally importantly in Europe. It would be brilliant to shake the elite up in Europe as well. Hopefully we'll join you. Lastly don't forget to buy every newspaper today...and keep them. there are some fantastic pictures.
justfoxes Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Omfg we did it !! https://amp.twimg.com/v/dbd0cf17-0456-46fd-b84b-7b305ac864f4
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Good atmosphere down the ground, will only get better once people finish work. Been in the Megastore and a lot of the shelfs are empty ... wanted a flag and some t-shirts but all the good stuff had gone
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 Sorry for the repeat... When do we play someone good? Next year I think... just checking now
Bob the Skutter Posted 3 May 2016 Posted 3 May 2016 CONGRATULATIONS!!! from us all at nufc-forum. When I heard last night that Spurs had only drawn I was jumping around my living room like a mental person. I dare say Leicester was probably a bit of a ghost town this morning as I can't imagine too many people made it into work today! Also, you have so vindicated me. Last season I felt like a lone voice amongst other fans on other forums etc saying that Leicester wouldn't go down and that they were a decent side who just needed the rub of the green a bit and to cut out the occasional naive spells. You've also proved to club chairman like our own Darth Fatso that yes you can compete at the business end of the league and that you shouldn't settle for just staying in the league. So thats one excuse avenue you've closed off to the greedy get. I don't need to tell you to value these next few days as thats patently obvious that you will do so, so again on behalf of my own nufc-forum.com, can I just say thank you so much, I am so proud of you all and enjoy these mmost special of days. You have certainly earned it!!
