JP the Fox Posted 29 August 2016 Posted 29 August 2016 It's a long shot and he's never fit but would anyone take Jack Wilshere on loan? He's an incredible player and would get on well with the likes of Vardy and Simpson?

Like you say, when he's fit a great player however I would prefer a stronger tackler and anyways it's very unlikely that Arsenal would let him come to us
STUHILL Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 I've seen the story about Wilshere. Great player when fit and that is a big WHEN.. but will still have him here on loan, although I think Arsenal would be crucified for sending one of their better midfielders to the Champions, and can see him going abroad to play in Italy or Spain. Would still struggle to like him, even if he was in a Leicester shirt anyway! Positive signs are, that we definitely seem keen on signing a striker and a midfielder, so would be surprised if we don't at least fill one of those spots in the next 2 days. Both hopefully! Agree with some saying they would like a young CB/RB but maybe that can wait until January. Burnley may be rock bottom and we could go back in for Keane
ST20 Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Wilshere is the modern day Dennis Wise. Kill it with fire.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Too many IFS with Wilshere. IF it worked, we got him fit and he fitted in, he could be the signing of the season. Or it could go completely the other way and he hardly played. Not sure...betcha he's on big wages too.
FireFox Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 With the Slimani/Silva deal falling thru... I wish we had just went in for Balotelli... Palmero and Nice both interested now, probably too late to try.
norwichfox Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Please, not Wilshere, like a lot of Arsenal's players he's falling to bits.

Injury prone, but if Arsenal are paying him, and we have him as backup, what's the risk?

MC Prussian Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 The Premier League is about to lose one of its former household names - Tomas Rosicky on the verge of returning back to the Czech Republic and Sparta Prague: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/soccer/2016/08/30/former-arsenal-midfielder-tomas-rosicky-moves-to-sparta/89574580/
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Anyone seen Ziyech's game for FC Twente? Should seriously make a move for him before he goes to Ajax.
Unclebuck1983 Posted 30 August 2016 Posted 30 August 2016 Jack Wilshire Loan??? Already has champions league experience, good attacking and defensively. And if he gets injured you can send him back!
