Which "new" Leicester fans annoy you most?

I don't see the problem with any type of fan.

If it brings them joy, happiness or anything positive - then how can that be bad?

Football is part of the entertainment industry. Should people not enjoy Pink Floyd because they didn't go to their gigs in the 70s?

The worst type of Leicester fans are those that don't handle victory with as much class as the players that actually won the league playing football.

It's like Triggers broom that's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles - but it's still the same broom.

Clubs fans come and go, foreign owners and players, new stadiums - some even change their shirt colour and location (Cardiff & Wimbledon) - and it's the place they represent that remains consistent. That's why I think anyone from Leicester that's supported the team well over 2 weeks deserves just as much joy as the 'Yeovil away' fans (who are being very disrespectful about Yeovil).

The 'Yeovil away' fans should have got free entry to the last games of the season if they could prove it with the ticket or match program for example in my opinion - but what's the problem with these new fans being happy?

I love threads like these, because I've lived in both worlds. I missed one game home or away over the space of three seasons now I've seen one game in about 4 years and I'm the biggest armchair willy puller around. Quite frankly who gives a ****!

Some (most) of the people who've been interviewed on the news this season

True down at the boro when we have a big game coming up in the cup or something. The loyal fans have a saying for those, they call them the big match brigade.

These recent supporters we've had were probably the same ones who four or fives years ago refused to support Leicester because they said "There Shit!"

What really irritates me is people talking about us without any knowledge on us. Apparently last year we were playing poorly until the last 9 games when the truth is we were in every game last season and just didn't get the luck. I hate that people just say obvious things about us, like it's down to team spirit and togetherness. Not many pundits have mentioned our quality and that we are an excellent side but instead it's a fluke because we are Leicester City..

This c-nut Arsenal fan selling scarves in the background of Sky's coverage when we became champions.

He declared that he was "now a Leicester fan" 10 seconds after we won the league after 2 minutes of live dancing around, chatting shit and being a twat behind the reporter.

Literally the worst excuse for a human being I've seen in the whole season process, and that includes Spurs WUMS. North London disease strikes again.

Oh shit that was weird!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when watching his weird, undulating dance moves!!!

Oh well, he's not the only gooner that's temporarily converted. But agree he's a complete twat!

1) I'm sure we all know this guy. How he went to filbert street in the 80's. He's a fan, that is clear, but he hasn't been in years!

Gary Lineker? lol

In all seriousness, my uncle annoys me as he left Leicester years ago for London and adopted Arsenal - was singing Wenger's praise after the 97/98 title win - but has been riding the Leicester City wave since about February this year!?

Exactly! I seem to remember working out that we'd been screwed out of about 9 points or so due to dubious decisions BEFORE the great escape!

I also am getting increasingly annoyed at the media constantly referring to our victory as "unlikely"? As you said, we're the best team in the league and the quality has always been there.

They've said all season it's not going to happen and now it's happened they are saying it will never happen again. I genuinely think people don't see the quality we have in this side and keep seeing us as lucky because of our name. We have some top top quality in the squad which has been overlooked and that is why I believe we will put up a good fight next year.

People that couldn't be bothered to support us during our dark years between 2004 and 2009 but now attend matches regularly whilst I struggle to get tickets. These people really boil my p!ss.

The golden mile boys who have never been near the ground in their lives fetching up everywhere in front of the media wearing 1980's scarves dragged out from the attic and professing their undying love for a club they have always followed .

You could spot these morons previously by them wearing Liverpool scarves / Man united shirts  or anything but Leicester shirts  and hear them sneering at their local unfashionable club . They will be down there today in their thousands and it's a pity I haven't  got time to punch each and every one of them before the kick off.

Seems to be a few on here complaining about the lack of tickets available.......yet for whatever reason haven't / had not bought a season ticket and maintained when the club couldn't give them away. Doesn't it work out cheaper?? + easy payments.

Without wishing to sound like a boring tw@t- I honestly don't look forward to being in the ground as this year being surrounded by new 'loyal supporters' that are either the ones who turn up late pissed and are too thick/ inconsiderate that they go to the bog when there is a corner etc

.....or the new hipster beardy's who get excitable and randomly jump up Meerkat fashion for a throw in when all those around are sitting and give a running commentary using first names.

Football etiquette comes with experience

Whilst our position is a dream and the football a pleasure to watch I wouldn't swap for the dark days.

EDIT......Yes, after being in the same seat since the year dot I will be moving

The ones celebrating our victory, yet s week ago probably followed MAnu and Liverpool.

I think my response should go something like:

This thread is poor

We should welcome new fans

Justify my reason for being here (few paragraphs)

Something about the kids

Wrap up with a summary reinforcing my points

Feel better about not being plastic

If we're doing well people will show more support and interest, that's just the way it goes, if and when we start to struggle, playing rubbish football and ending up in 17th and 18th position, interest will decline and crowds will fall by thousands, it's true it's annoying for me when i look on facebook and see aquaintances posting up foxes pics when a couple of years ago they didn't give a damn, one of my sons the other day posted well done leicester we've won the champions league! I feel cheated if i'm honest because i was there for the crap games with the likes of Gillingham and Yeovil when these people were supporting Man United. Just got to enjoy the moment instead of getting vexed!

I love how the OP very clearly stated it was more of a humourous and observational thread. Rather than contributing anything remotely interesting, loads have cried and complained that he hates anybody new fans supporting the club.

Such a wet bunch.

I like everyone following us and taking an interest and there will always be more people following us when we are successful. It's why United are the most followed club in the world. The people that annoy me are the ones who talk about us like they know Leicester inside out but only became fans after February. A lot of people don't know what it was like after Stoke game, the rebuilding job after that, two play off agonies and the great escape with the circus that was Sven stuck in between. I don't mind people supporting us, but don't like people who make such claims .

Definitely agree with the people that know nothing about football. It's painful listening to them regurgitate facts but have no useful opinion.

Got one of these assholes at work been a leicester fan for years apparently who loves our Italian referee claudi raniy has been a leicester United fans for years and was down 2 weeks ago when we beat swindon 4-0.

Just want to punch the dozzy fecker on the nose lol

We was poor for a lot of last season. Couldn't score a goal for a long time. Never looked like scoring many either. We didn't get thrashed ever, but there were a lot of poor matches. We wasn't bottom due to bad luck.

The two Liverpool fans in my local who really took the piss out of us last season until Christmas, now somehow season ticket holders and getting ready to "party" today.

I've been doing a 'Martin O'Neill' this week by talking to those who ripped me to pieces 8 long years ago when we dropped to League One. Some of those same people are NOW Foxes fans, but I don't let them forget their 'plastic' roots!

Welcome any new fans cos of the glory, now stick with us and enjoy the roller coaster!
