Bayfox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 None of them are as annoying as the "where were you when we were poo?" brigade. It's almost like they want us to be struggling in the championship with 18k every week. Yeah but I'd you're watching on the telly you're quite ****. And part of my does. At least I could get a kit for my kids in 2009. Took 7 hours today.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 To be fair alot of our long-term fans are right bum'oles too
Bayfox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Tom Hanks. Wan?er. Where was he at Yeovil away? Plastic. Oh **** off. I missed Yeovil away twice. Bloody kids and holidays.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 The ones that ask you if you can get them a ticket for the Everton game, despite the fact you haven't been able to get one yourself.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Tom Hanks. Wan?er. Where was he at Yeovil away? Plastic. I'd love it if a photo emerged that he was in attendance then
ramboacdc Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 the ones who bought all the tickets yeah damn them glory supporting gold members who sold the membership out in September! in other news i want one of them to ring me and tell me tomorrows lottery numbers cuz they are brilliant at predicting the future!

It's almost like they want us to be struggling in the championship with 18k every week. This I agree with. They are just as annoying, I don't remember seeing any of them at Yeovil away!!On a serious note though, if the amount of people who said they were at Yeovil away actually went to Yeovil away then that would make Yeovil ground as big as Old Trafford!
OadbyBlue Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Some (most) of the people who've been interviewed on the news this season
Bayfox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Some (most) of the people who've been interviewed on the news this season Oh he's got it. Especially the last week .
TrentFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Oh **** off.I missed Yeovil away twice. Bloody kids and holidays. Plastic.
Wolfox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 All the people that have joined in 2016 How could you not want to comment on all the shit we have been through in the past 10 years Please do try both me and (I imagine) many others who decided to post on here more recently... My credentials as a city fan are Impeccable... I was previously content with following transfer talk as a non member for many years... As many (far from all) posts on here were inane rambling arguments and I never felt the calling to get involved... And then wierd stuff started happening and I felt the whole of Leicester should be aware of my opinion on both football and music! Remind me why I joined up on here again?
fuchsntf Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I welcome all..I myself have left Leicester many years ago, there are players from our darkest days who I wont remember or know, not because I didnt still follow, but because, some were not worth naming...the 70s,80s,90 were my peak travelling years, social media, was not on the agenda.I myself have visited the KP not more than 20 times, and opps grounds 10-15 times. Over 8 yrs.Plus visits to various Tigers venues. Its my City, all sports results from my city, when possibilties arose, would be searched out, that it would make sherlock proud. In all corners of the world contrary to some modern media and ill informed fans.English football and all its traditional teams in the 4 divisions were followed not just by the British military, but by locals and the original travelling backpackers individual souls. (Not gap year types). Sport colums and sport magazines, might report in their mags/journals 1 month behind, but Radios reported on games, as though they were live. Older expats even informed or had their own columns in the strangest locations. My 2nd team even yrs before I settled in Germany has been BVB Dortmund, in fact since the 60s..1966 european cup winners cup, thereafter in good times and bad. But they will always be 2nd....
BridgfordFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Another one of these threads, with the undercurrent of "who's the best fan?". It's ridiculous and immature. Why would you not want more people to support, to like, to love our club ? Everyone has to start somewhere... Anyone can associate themselves with our Club - none of us has the right to look down on them, or view them as being less entitled, just because they weren't at <obscure Northern town> in <cold, wet month> when it <really bad weather> it down... Today, do the owners or the players care if someone that is cheering for them or even talking about them, has just jumped on the bandwagon ? I doubt it. So why should other fans care ?? It takes nothing away from your entitlement - you can still keep your "loyal supporter" badge. I just don't get it... I'm over 40 (just), I've been to all of the recent (!) Wembley finals. I was there for Tony James v Oxford, Chelsea at home when the fans were fighting as the news from Hillsborough was coming though, Peter Taylor, Mickey Adams - all of the crap. I was at Shef Wed when we lost 7 -1 in the Cup, on the terraces at Notts County in the pouring rain when Paul Fitzpatrick scored in the ZDS cup. (Where were you ??? Oh, not born yet ? Oh, sorry...) I took the kids football team that I coach to wave the flags before the Swansea game - half of those kids weren't Leicester fans before (we're in Nottingham). They loved it so much that they are now. Great ! I'm going to get them all a programme from the match tomorrow just to cement it. For that match I gave my season tickets to a couple of work friends who were visiting from Japan. They've been following us for a few years, and they loved the fact that they got to attend a match. They are now fans. Great ! This is such an amazing time to be a City fan - why would you want to waste any negative energy on this nonsense...? (Acknowledging the irony that I've just wasted 15 mins of my life and 400 words to address it..!)
RGFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 ash patel Must say pretty embarrassing article on bbc to swap allegiances. I know tons of leicester-based liverpool 'fans' and although most are happy for their hometown club doing well, tbf atleast they're sticking with the reds. Armchair loyalty at its best!

bluesbrothers Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 This c-nut Arsenal fan selling scarves in the background of Sky's coverage when we became champions. He declared that he was "now a Leicester fan" 10 seconds after we won the league after 2 minutes of live dancing around, chatting shit and being a twat behind the reporter. Literally the worst excuse for a human being I've seen in the whole season process, and that includes Spurs WUMS. North London disease strikes again.

(Acknowledging the irony that I've just wasted 15 mins of my life and 400 words to address it..!) Completely missed the point. As I have said a number of times now, this isn't a post about who is the better fan, plastic vs real fans. Not intended to look down on anyone. Just a bit of light hearted banter, that's all. The only thing I was semi serious about was being annoyed by people who have found a new love for football and try and talk about football as though they've followed it all their life and know everything. If you'd have bothered to read through you'd have seen in wasn't serious, but you've picked out what you wanted to see and turned into the person who you were arguing against. I don't care who follows Leicester City, I welcome new and old fans with open arms. I don't look down on people because I go to games and they don't, I'm just fortunate enough that I've been able to over the years. So everyone is welcome, enjoy the moment, savour every minute of it, welcome to the Leicester family, everyone apart from the mother in law, she still annoys me!

Jimbo Posted 6 May 2016 Author Posted 6 May 2016 Of course that's what you meant, mate. Absolutely no undercurrent at all... If you want to think that then go ahead buddy. I'm not arguing with you. I'm way to excited about tomorrow to be bothered. Couldn't care less really. Search through my posts over the years, in particular this season. You'll find I've always argued in favour of new fans. Why do people have to be so cynical in this day and age???
bluesbrothers Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 How about we all stop bickering and agree that the Arsenal scarf seller is a willy puller?
Jimbo Posted 6 May 2016 Author Posted 6 May 2016 How about we all stop bickering and agree that the Arsenal scarf seller is a willy puller? Defo! And every other half and half scarf seller!
Lionheart10 Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 All them that were on the news around the clock tower.
GaelicFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 None of them are as annoying as the "where were you when we were poo?" brigade. It's almost like they want us to be struggling in the championship with 18k every week. And they only bring it up because tickets never went to p3 or silver members

Fair enough mate - maybe a bad example to pick, but a significant part of Foxestalk is all about how much better "loyal supporters" (18 year olds who have been going for 10 years) are compared to "new supporters" - and this thread is not completely dissimilar. (And when our fans start singing "loyal supporters" to our own fans if they leave early - that's just embarrassing !) I just think it's a shame that you would even want to pick apart the "new fans". Just let them be... What harm are they doing - don't waste energy being annoyed by them ?! Anyone I'll leave you to your thread...
GaelicFox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 I'm quite pissed off at 11.40pm the night before we collect the big one so many people are sober enough to make a coherent argument Get out , get pished and get a life LOL
