This is boxing now, what a humiliating day for the sport.

Haye v Briggs is what they are gagging for.

Are we now supposed to get excited about Haye fighting a guy Klitchko put into a coma about ten years ago?

Exactly, seems people will pay for tickets whoever or whatever Haye fights, he knows that, so will go for easy prey at the moment before he is stopped and forced back into retirement by someone actually good.

Enjoyable pissup. But Fatman Scoop not getting to do his one song has broken me emotionally.

Should've saved the money on tickets and spent it on more booze instead. Reckon you'd see better fighting at your local lol

I'll predict it now and you can laugh all you want, but I think David Haye will win at least one of the world heavyweight belts again before he retires. Yes he's made mistakes and I'm sure he wishes he could have done things differently, but listening to him all week on TalkSport he seems fully focused and totally committed to getting back to the top. I like his new attitude - no stone left unturned and he's all over every single detail. He'll win easy tomorrow and then batter old man Briggs, which could then set up a world title fight for him. I love him as a boxer if not completely as a bloke, and I'd love to see him regain the crown. He admitted this is his last run at it and I think he'll work hit nuts off to achieve it. Good luck to him I say. Would take him over that **** Fury any day of the week...

Yet again mate.. absolutely spot on

Haye has come back bigger, stronger and looks fitter. His injuries seem to be past him too. He'd give Fury a close fight NOW imo, let alone next year or summat. I've always enjoyed listening to Haye personally.

Just watched the fight. Haye is a good fighter. If he stays healthy, he'll do alright. Definitely needs to step up in class. Briggs is that but looked really slow in his short fight. Varate got a few, weak, punches on him. Haye is a big hitter, if Briggs doesn't move he'll go down.

Glad Haye is back but fights like that are just awful.

Not sure how anyone can form an opinion on Haye's credentials for a title based on the two fights he's had so far.

He's fought two guys who basically stood there and waited to be hit so I dont see how anyone can judge his speed and the shots that won him the fight last night and against De Mori didnt look particularly hard so difficult to judge his power.

This whole thing to me looks like good pay day marketing. There are so many fighters he could have fought that would have given him a sterner test but he chose two plums.

That says more to me than anything.

Nailed it betts.

Can't believe people are buying into all the hype about hsye. Hes hit them eating out of his hands! Hes beat 2 bums who wasyl would've whipped and now he's The man again!!

He bottled the Fury fights and hurt his big toe v Klitch...All he goes on about is fighting AJ...yeah...wonder why!!! ££££££

Clearly the only reason he's come out of retirement is the fact we've not got 2 English heavyweight contenders for him to call out for one last big pay day.

Both Shannon Briggs' and Haye's opponent were poor, very poor.

Whether one was poorer than the other I wouldn't like to say, if I was pushed i'd say Haye's was poorer - No defence whatsoever - If I remember correctly his opponent in his comeback fight had no defence either.

Shannon Briggs was certainly the more impressive of the two though imo.

Although I want Briggs to win against Haye, I didn't think he would, last night has changed that, I reckon Briggs could do Haye now.
