General Smuts Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Anyone else going tomorrow? Or going to be watching on Dave? I'm only going cos the ticket was free and I've never been to the boxing before. Should be a nice excuse for a few Vardy bombs.
Guest MattP Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I can't believe this man is still managing to shift tickets, he should have been consigned to the bin after Klitchko.
Matt Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I'm hoping he wins, I'm hoping Shannon Briggs wins, they then have to fight and Shannon 'The Cannon' does Haye, then it really will be career over for Haye. (I don't think Briggs would win against Haye, but i'm hoping that's the case) I used to like Haye, respect him, but after the Klitschko fight, blaming it on his toe, he was finished for me. Maybe he did break his toe, maybe he didn't want to let his fans down, but if you're not 100% you don't go in the ring, you certainly don't blame the issue if you lose.
Izzy Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I'll predict it now and you can laugh all you want, but I think David Haye will win at least one of the world heavyweight belts again before he retires. Yes he's made mistakes and I'm sure he wishes he could have done things differently, but listening to him all week on TalkSport he seems fully focused and totally committed to getting back to the top. I like his new attitude - no stone left unturned and he's all over every single detail. He'll win easy tomorrow and then batter old man Briggs, which could then set up a world title fight for him. I love him as a boxer if not completely as a bloke, and I'd love to see him regain the crown. He admitted this is his last run at it and I think he'll work hit nuts off to achieve it. Good luck to him I say. Would take him over that **** Fury any day of the week...
Bettsj2 Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 Haye and Fury are both mouthy pricks. The difference is Fury has always backed it up whereas Haye hasnt. Sorry but these two return fights are an absolute joke. If he ends up in the ring with Briggs, Briggs will destroy him. Haye onyl looks good when he can bully an opponent but he wont be able to do that with Briggs and he certainly wouldnt be able to do it against Fury.
Raj Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 Haye is an arrogant ****. Dusting around for publicity to try and get back in with the big boys
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 So that's two fights that were no real match up.
Will1981 Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 If Haye's fight is over 1st round they should make him fight Briggs tonight. PS DAVE can not handle live tv.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 Was Shannon fighting his 12 year old son?
Raj Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 Is it my TV or is the sound about 2 seconds behind??? Dave is shit
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 No one put their hands in the air like they just don't care for Bizzle
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 The only way this can be saved is if LVG turns up with the FA Cup chanting "Louie Van Gaal's Army, whacks Jose around the head with it and they proceed the have a full on rumble inside the ring!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 Is this the lass that didn't sing at the cup final?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 May 2016 Posted 21 May 2016 The only way this can be saved is if LVG turns up with the FA Cup chanting "Louie Van Gaal's Army, whacks Jose around the head with it and they proceed the have a full on rumble inside the ring! Be more exciting than any fight tonight so far
