Benfica are the Man Utd and Chelsea of Portugal. Benfica TV is actually pretty good though and surprisingly the least Benfica-biased sports channel.

Whilst I agree that Slimani is an upgrade to Ulloa. I do not agree that Ulloa's impact on our title winning season is as limited as you seem to suggest.

For 10 Million pounds we could quite easily of got someone to come in do all of the above and more. We could probably of Got Slimani for that cash at the time, But tbh that's not what I am saying at all, you, yet again, prove you have no ability to read and understand at all bending arguments to suit your own agenda, I have said he has his strengths and has played his part, I call him the donkey because he is slow and has a poor touch, but if you put the ball on his head in the box something will happen more often than not. but he is no vital part of the system, like Danny Simpson who you could swap out for any defensively sound Premeir League right back, you could switch him out with any half decent Prem target man the result last season would of been the same.

Hi there,

Im here just because i saw some guys in benfica fórum saying that they would go to Leicester forum to make Leicester supporters hate Slimani.

Slimani is a great guy, i have meet Slimani once in a dinner and he is a great man.

Slimani is also a fantastic player. When he came to Sporting nobody new this player, now after some years he his one of the best strikers in the world, he scored 5 goals in tree games to Casillas.

Benfica instead, they play with referees, Jonas didnt score any goal to porto or Sporting he only scored to affiliated teams of benfica. Why do you thank he was without job?

Those are facts if you need i can show you.

If you take us Slimani we will lose one of our stars but you will not regret.

BTW: last year he was not the top scorer because Jonas had 7penaltis, search for "Marco Ferreira says that Benfica was helped" and you will know what im talking about.

What is NOT normal is that so many of these people kowtow to this new godfather's policies that royally screw everyone else in favour of benfica.

 

But it's the crap country we live in. Just to give you a general idea, a few years back there was an official inquiry into influence peddling in football. Club presidents, namely the porto one, were caught in phone calls to members of the Referee Association, where they are caught deciding which refs should go to which games, plus what sort of rewards (the so called "fruit") they were due.

So what you do think happened? If you guessed nothing, with case being "archived", a cleaner word for dismissed, you are correct.

 

I hope this puts our ocean sprawled country in perspective, as well as our euro victory AND our ranking in UEFA. Shitty corrupt country, but we're very good at football. (that's code for pay up, foxes ;) )

I have a major problem saying i'm wrong?

 

1. If Nugent was good enough to challenge for the 'championship', why did Boro sign him?

 

2. A donkey has 4 legs, Ulloa has 2, whilst i'm not the biggest fan of Ulloa's first touch, i've never seen a 'donkey' play in the premier league. Pretty sure it is only open to Human males.
