Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Jonathan Williams and David fvcking Edwards picked ahead of Kingy. Can't believe it. People don't actually rate our players!! Complaining that Williams has been picked ahead of King is like complaining that Eric Dier has been picked ahead of Vardy. Edwards in is a strange one though. I can only assume he's there because he'll run around more.

Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Williams isn't a striker though? ... I'm aware of that...................?
filbertstreet Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Williams isn't a striker though? haven't got any good strikers that aren't bale
cjslcfc Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 ... I'm aware of that...................? So where does he play? CDM? CAM? CM? He's certainly not a winger. Kingy can play all those positions and is a far better player.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Wish I could up my prediction from 1 nil to 3 nil after looking at that Wales team
whoareyaaa Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Wales team does look weak, I'm on Slovakia + btts. Bale could be the difference if he turns up.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Putting in a Wolves player in front of a title winning Leicester one is a complete joke hope they get absolutely mullered
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 lol assume you're on the wind up. I'll bite. Ramsey is the only world class British central midfielder. By a stretch. Ramsey would be playing for England but world class?! You're better than that, mate.
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 So where does he play? CDM? CAM? CM? He's certainly not a winger. Kingy can play all those positions and is a far better player. King and Williams are apples and oranges. King is not better at the job Williams is in there to do which is run at people, dribble, create. If King is our Xabi Alonso, Williams is our David Silva. (I'm well aware we're not that good.) There's little enough creativity in there as it is, you take out Williams and put King in and we're even worse. King would be playing in Edwards place if anything but Edwards is a little more athletic.
Fox92 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Putting in a Wolves player in front of a title winning Leicester one is a complete joke hope they get absolutely mullered Who they play for at club level is irrelevant. Would you pick Simpson over Clyne/Walker just because he plays for the Champions?
foxes21 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 maybe they're resting King so he can boss the England game?
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 maybe they're resting King so he can boss the England game? Hopefully!
ScouseFox Posted 11 June 2016 Author Posted 11 June 2016 wow King on the bench. crikey. hoped Wales got battered now I hope they get battered so bad they don't even bother going to the England game.
MC Prussian Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Is is last time we see em In finals Half the team now qualify for Kosovo That is all up to each individual - but my guess is maybe one or two player only will want to switch sides with a second-rate team such as Kosovo. Although Albania's 2018 World Cup qualifying group is the bomb with games against Spain, Italy and Israel.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who they play for at club level is irrelevant. Would you pick Simpson over Clyne/Walker just because he plays for the Champions? Well I would but thats irrelevant. The players you're coming out with play for Liverpool and Tottenham and the one getting in ahead of Kingy is rotting mid-table in the Championship ffs
StanSP Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who they play for at club level is irrelevant. Would you pick Simpson over Clyne/Walker just because he plays for the Champions? look at the division they're playing in though
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Who they play for at club level is irrelevant. Would you pick Simpson over Clyne/Walker just because he plays for the Champions? Clyne and Walker are playing at the top level ... and actually I would prefer Simpson...

Although Albania's 2018 World Cup qualifying group is the bomb with games against Spain, Italy and Israel. 1. Surely if they swap, it's less about who is the best team and how they identify nationally? 2. If all of your Kosovo/Albanian players swap, you'll be third rate.
kingfox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Edwards over King On that basis I hope Slovakia destroy them. Kucka, Hamsik & Weiss can all do some damage.

I'm just so confused as to why Edwards is there. I'm adamant Kingy can do the running that's required in that role. Anyway, will be interesting to watch Slovakia are a good side.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Putting in a Wolves player in front of a title winning Leicester one is a complete joke hope they get absolutely mullered Could be purely down to tactics - wouldn't be surprised if Edwards follows Hamsek around all game. It'd be a waste for Kingy to do that.

Don't be ridiculous. It's because the silly Welsh don't know what they're doing not picking Ballon Dor nominee King.
